I feel so bad for the fans in Oakland, I know all too well what shitty ownership feels like after dealing with the Spanos family for decades. I wish they'd vote the move down, but I know the other owners won't. Truly think all ownership options should be exhausted before a team is even allowed to move. MLB is going to lose a lot of fans who will just be done with it after they leave, like what happened to NFL "fans" once the chargers left San Diego, the sport is dead to the vast majority of us.

Justin Verlander vs Framber Valdez tonight. Hard to be excited about anything rn as an Astros fan but that could be a fun way to get the season back on-track.
Verlander was presented with his WS ring at last night's game.
The Red Sox are ass this year, and I can't imagine this getting better any time soon.
Might start watching the D'backs. Need to feel good about something.
Fair choice but you might be too late. You could just on the Reds bandwagon now - Elly has arrived, but they've got other guys coming too (he's the best though). It's actually made me a bit depressed baseball-wise.

Kinda cool but also learned he has a history of DV, so.... kind of hard to be too excited about it. At least the poor Oakland fans got to see something unexpected lol.
