A billboard that formerly sported an Ad for ACL on South Lamar here in Austin now just has a green back ground with the words "I've got a peaceful easy feeling". I'd say that all but confirms The Eagles.

Here are the rumors: Based on the ACL board and bill boards around Austin
Eagles, M.I.A., Muse, Spoon, The Flaming Lips, Band of Horses, Robert Earl Keen, Trombone Shorty, Pat Green, Blues Traveler, Black Joe Lewis and The Honeybears, Ryan Bingham, and The National. Strong rumors also suggest Phish, Arcade Fire, and Pavement....possible Pheonix and Soundgarden as well.

I'll never understand why people don't like the Eagles. Dank lineup...I am now trying to convince my cowardly friends to make a power move to Austin for this.
6/18: Phish in Hartford 6/25: Phish in Camden 7/2-7/4: Nateva 7/17: God Street Wine at Irving Plaza 7/23-7/25: String Cheese at Red Rocks!! 8/17-8/18: Phish at Jones Beach 9/3: Rush at PNC
This Bonnaroo lineup is in dire need of some Rush.
Only buying a single day ticket this year. Going Sunday primarily because of The National, but I'm also looking forward the possibility of the Flaming Lips, Yeasayer, Gayngs, Richard Thompson, Foals and Morning Benders, depending of course on how the schedule plays out.
i'd take muse over kings of leon, phish over dave, but not sure on the eagles over stevie wonder. i'm more of an eagles fan musically but i think stevie would be a much better show.
a couple of problems i have with acl is that i live in cincinnati, so this festival for me costs about 3x as much as roo, because of the flight and hotel costs. i just won't drive that far.
my other problem is the set times. headliners are lucky to get more than 1 1/2 to 2 hours. and theres 2 headliners a night, except for sunday. bonnaroo has, is and will always be the best festival for your money.

I bought 3 single day tix since the 3 days sold out so damn fast. I am guessing all the 3 days on Ebay and stubhub will sell for 250-300 until the fest. Who knows though. Scalpers are lame.
Really like this lineup. Gonna be keeping my eyes open for everything with this festival this year. I'd definitely like to make it, but not at $85 a day. That's kinda crazy. I'm not thinking that too many cheap 3 day passes will end up on craigslist/other sites, simply because both Phish and Muse will be really big draws for people.
Might be up for doing days of this, really kinda depends on the day by dat schedule though....
