Well, with the rain this year, doesn't look like we'll have crazy dust storms, right?
I just hope it doesn't rain *too* much... 1st Roo in mud the whole time would not be too fun. And would create a really messy laundry load to do once home, probably.

I thought accuweather.com was more accurate than weather.com last year. Also, accuweather has a 15 day forcast. I really really hope we don't have to deal with rain this year! I'm already kinda freaking out about it! Haha

No wonder I remember seeing people talk about accuweather last year. I never knew they had a 15 day forecast. good to know!
and yeah...I'm definitely lookin for some rain boots or something for the rain.

I would love to not have to deal with the mud this year but I have a feeling it's inevitable. Southern rain is in much abundance. Let's cross our fingers anyway
2007 the South had a major drought, which is why it was so dusty that year.
This year has been the complete opposite and we've actually had a ton of rain. Plus a ton of storms. I'm 10 minutes south of the Tennessee boarder and I can almost guarentee it will rain at least once at 'Roo this year. I just hope it doesn't storm, or worse, brew up a ole' tornader.
And while we're on the subject, what's Bonnaroo policy on tornados? I mean where in the hell will 100,000 people go if there was a tornado watch/warning?

Yeah the storm last year on Thursday really didn't affect me at all.. I stood under my half-erected EZ-Up and nibbled some corn and the rain stopped after like 8 minutes. I did not experience mud everywhere.. or much of anywhere really. I thought the rain on Thursday made the rest of the weekend really nice.
Yeah last year was pretty workable weather. We got stuck at the very back corner at kids under the stairs when the monsoon rolled in. That sucked. People actually were pushing a little too much for our taste. After that the only problem was the swamp at our showers and portalets. If we must have a supercell, I prefer something later in the weekend. It makes exploring the campgrounds more fun.

There actually was a tornado warning last year during the Thursday night storm sometime around 11pm. I don't think most people know that, since Roo didn't announce it. I'm not sure there's much they could do anyway other than shutting down operation of the stages/tents.
Yea there was DEFINITELY a Tornado warning last year... one of my buddies texted me about.
Glad I didnt get that text till morning... I was already pretty spun up that night... the last thing I needed to hear about was a Tornado on the ground.
I just actually looked at Accuweather for the weekend of 'Roo and they say that the average high is 84-85 degrees and the average low is 64 degrees. Can anyone remember it getting that cool in the evening at any 'Roo?
The average high seems completely reasonable but that low seems really low to me.
I'm not surprised with all the people warning it gets chilly at night. And I dunno what id do if I knew of a tornado. Probably stare at the sky a ton more than listen to the music.
