Hottest Roo ever - tied with '04 with heat indices at 104. ('07 was hottest temp at 97 but the drought/dustbowl had low humidity and heat indices in mid 90's.) Broke a record for hottest overnight low at 77 Sat night.
Last year was the coolest R00 ever with heat indices in the low 90's. Rainy '05 was pretty cool also.
Replaced the data w/ the right data - that was for Smyrna, GA and the airport there. I changed it to the Nashville airport. Not going to be perfect but it's close.
^^That looks about right (not sure where the info came from as no official reading I've seen said 99 this weekend) but I know '03 sure seemed hotter than that. Sat of '04 was the hottest (Heat index possibly tied this year) ever and '07 broke a record but with very low humidity.

edit - that looks like it's for Smyrna GA and the airport there, not Manchester. I'll try to fix that. Oooooooooooooooopsy. Regardless its relatively close and gives a decent idea of the temp in the region.
So who wants to compare this year's weather to the previous ones? Similar to any? Worse than before? I think I heard temps were near 96 and it was definitely hot and humid. bleh. poured Wednesday apparently and then only sprinkled on Saturday, if I remember correctly, but that sprinkling definitely left some muddy spots.
This was my 1st year so I can't really compare from experience.
Forgive me if I'm crazy, but wasn't the festival only 3 days long then? Bonnaroo.com's schedule has it at 3 days.
04' and 05' had the Bonnaroo Pre Party, which was Thursday nights starting at like 8 or 9. I can't remember everyone that played but it was mostly smaller bands from the surrounding areas. They were never announced (or even on the line up), you just showed up.
It wasn't until 06' that they started having a "real" night ... but they had been doing it all along.

Got it. 04 and 05 the Thursday temps were 88 in 05 and 90 in 04.
This year really wast the hottest yet because of the humidity. Wow.
I was expecting cooler nights. I feel like I brought jackets more for AC at night than the actual weather outside.
Is it normal to even have warm nights like that or were all temps above normal? I hope next year cools down. I feel so bad hearin the heat giving people strokes and whatnot. even had a fellow inforooer pass away due to the heat. makes me so incredibly sad. i dunno how people drink in that weather. i stayed sober, and im even more glad i did now.
I would drink, but it would be like, two beers, two bottles of water, a vitamin water, some food, a beer, a water, etc. I definitely caught a buzz. My girlfriend is a nurse and I was joking with her about how much I was peeing despite the sweat pouring off my body. That might have been the most hydrated I've been while drunk in my life.

Out of all 9, the heat was the most brutal this year. Hands down. I made a point to fill my camelbak after every show, which I did for everything except Punch Brothers>Carolina Chocolate Drops and Isis>Melvins. Being in tent only this year saved my butt, I was never that far from gatorade, water, ice, and short naps.

Regina was right. We're "heat superheroes."
I wound up bringing like 7 bottles of water in each day and a camelback to fill up because I was camping out for rail spots. And it STILL kicked my ass.
This weekend was brutal. I saw John Butler on Sunday, and after that was wiped out for a few hours. Ditto with Gaslight Anthem on Friday. I drank a gallon of water per day, just in daylight hours.
