It looks like how much variation in the weather forecast there is between day to day, on a 15 day forecast.
Example, the forecast for June 8th: On May 24th, Accuweather(?) predicted it would be 83 degrees. By May 26th and 27th, it now was predicted it would be 91 degrees. Yesterday it went down to 88.
I don't really like putting much credit in a forecast beyond five days out. It gets too unpredictable after that.
Even in 3 days, the forecasts for weather.com and Accuweather conflict on whether or not there's gonna be rain. The highs usually are around mid to high 80s, it seems.
Here's what I've seen so far: (I know it's bound to change, but oh well)
Accuweather:
Weather.com:
I have to somehow force myself to wait until more last minute weather forecasts, cause even next week's forecasts conflict. I don't know what to trust.
That forecast isn't too shabby at all!Its easily 115F (we do celsius, that why i couldnt figure much above ) with a buttload of humidity. And summer has barely begun. Living in a desert sucks. BONNAROOOO!!!
--Above-normal severe weather from central Plains into the lower Ohio Valley and parts of the Upper Midwest.
--Hot and humid Gulf Coast states.
I'm expecting 90 and humid every day, and maybe a thunderstorm or two. Accuweather is saying mid 80s (or higher), humid, and a chance of storms every day.
Damn, we really couldn't have gotten luckier last year w/ the weather, eh? One bad thunderstorm on the first day to wet everything down and keep the dust away and after that, it was just hot - and at night it was nice.
i was just on a few weather sites and talked to some local meteorologist's and i have a feeling that this year at bonnaroo it will be wet, more muddy than usual, and hot hot hot. Word's of advise: bring the mud boots, sunscreen and rain gear

I really hope it doesn't rain the whole time. I think we should be good though, doesn't seem like it should be too bad
It'll likely be a band of thunderstorms that pop up due to all the instability in the atmosphere. When you have a lot of heat, humidity, and convective energy going on - storms can flare up. But it would not be an all day thing. More like 30-45 minutes and done, at most.

The best we have right now is a 10 day forecast - and they are utterly worthless. I will put some significance into the 'Roo weather report exactly 48 hours before things get started.
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "
I cant believe how close it is! My journey to Bonnaroo commences in less than a week! Rain might make a few things a lil impractical but dancing in it must be AWESOME!!! Anyone from Manchester that can give us what armenians call, 'the smell' of the weather?
Accuweather has now removed chances of rain from all four days of the weekend, and it now has a chance of storms on Monday. However, it will also be near or above 90 the entire time plus humid.
See how fast this changes? I wouldn't be surprised if the storm threat came back.
i live about 15 min from the farm and it has been pretty hot the past couple of days with rain about every 2-3 hours...i'm thinking it will continue to be like this next week for 'roo

Ughhh, I've got a feeling this could be a rainyroo and I am sooo dreading it. I can deal with the heat. The dust doesn't bother me one bit. But the MUD...auughh.

I always thought I'd prefer a quick Thursday rain to tamp down the dust, but last year we had precisely that and I explored the campgrounds much much less simply due to deep mud in several main avenues. We really enjoyed ourselves meeting folks the previous years. Last year we pretty much stuck to the main route between centeroo and tent simply to avoid digging shoes out of the mud over and over. I know it won't matter what I think, but I'll take dusty roo over sloppy roo everyday of the week.
