The Dead Kenny G's RULE! You are very fortunate. This band is Skerik on sax (who has played with Claypool in past roos, has played with ROger Waters, and is part of Garage a Trois), Mike Dillon on percussion (drums, vibes, tabla - this guy played with Claypool at Bonnaroo this year), and Brad Hauser on bass. I saw these guys back in January and they absolutely tore it up.

Haven't seen primus since 2004 and this will be my second show at the Ryman (caught Ray Lamontagne there a few years back. It's gonna be my girls first show at the Ryman and her first stay in Nashville.....super excited for her

My friend and I got Balcony section 11 Row C, Seats 1 and 2. I have my tickets in hand and I'm counting down! This is my first time seeing Primus and I'm so excited!
Wish primus was coming closer to me, seeing as how I've never seen them. Anywho, the dead Kenny g's are bad ass! I saw them about a month ago in Austin. It was amazing, but then again I'm a huge fan of when skerik and mike Dillon get together.

finally got my primus date(s) i've been waiting for. atlanta oct. 5 and asheville oct. 6. now to figure out how to get the tickets.
These are the times when I'm most sad to have moved away from Atlanta. That show is the day before my birthday.
(I'm still not going to get to see them, but I did get Josh a ticket for the Sacramento show. It's on a Tuesday, though, and I just can't take the time off of work to go.)

I'm just bitter that I won't get to see them at all - can't make the nashville date - school starts the next week and can't do ATL because it's mid-week and the kids are in school - sometimes I hate living in Jackson (wait - I pretty much hate living in Jackson all the time)
