I toured the Ryman once, that place is awesome! I have a picture of myself "playing" guitar on the stage There were no shows scheduled when I was there though, I would've gone to just about anything just to see something there.
I am a little confused about Primus and seats... but it should be a much safer show than the one I went to, down front at least

Wild mosh pits and stage diving are pretty standard with Primus, like don't go down front unless you mean buisiness!
With the seats you won't have that though (not necessarily bad), but I do hope everyone is standing and dancing all night regardless, I couldn't imagine actually sitting down at any point during that set.

I'm pumped to see primus again(2nd primus show... and my 5th time seeing les) and the more i hear of the dead kenny g's the more i'm excited to see those guys.....I am however kind of bummed to see the shows have only been one set aside from the tour opener. I was really hoping for a 2 set show with the second set being frizzle fry in its entirety. Caught em in 04 and was treated to a second set of Sailing the Seas of Cheese. Its gonna be a great show no matter what......but i'd go absolutely ape Leno if they busted out two sets in nashville

^ I don't know about the rest of the tour, but they couldn't play more than 90 minutes in Brooklyn because the park has a 10PM curfew, and Gogol Bordello had a full set before them
How far is Yazoo from the Ryman? Is it within walking distance? I want to knock back a few beers before the show and I really shouldn't be driving, expecially since I'm not really familiar with downtown.

You do drive but it is less than 1 mile to the garage from there and nothing complicated. The trick is to park at the library garage it is only 4$ (cash only), and within two blocks of the Ryman.

I'm sure a cab ride would be reasonable if you want to go that route... just make sure you have the number of a cab service or two because hailing a cab from Yazoo would be challenging.
