NoD, I recall them saying that it would be a full-fledged performance/production from Jonsi. It'll have everything his other tour dates has had, supposedly. I'm so excited. That night is going to be ridiculous for the visuals, with Nosaj Thing, Jonsi, and Massive Attack. Not to mention Four Tet to close things out that night (There is Love in You being one of my favorite electronic records of the year, if not my number one). Gonna be epic.

Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
Haha no worries Airline, it's Thievery all the way. Jonsi puts on a helluva show, don't get me wrong, but I've already been able to get shots of him and see his show (albeit not the full production) from up real close. But now it's Thievery's time. They killed Bonnaroo but I want to see it go down from up close. You really can't go wrong with either choice. I'm willing to bet each set will be hundreds of peoples' favorite of the weekend.
Edit: How do the light affect the shooting, nodepression? Do they keep it really dark?

What's everyone's Sunday schedule looking like? Mine is all TWA, all night. Shout Outx4>Sleigh Bells>Neon Indian>Hot Chip. Then a little Dam-Funk afterwards if I'm not too tired.
I doubt I will have another chance to see Mountain Man and that record has gotten alota play around here.
Thievery meet up could happen though. Will be doing Thievery> Massive Attack>Four Tet as well. The last time I saw him (Kieran),he brought the tent down with Steve Reid. Looking forward to seeing that solo set.

For sure. That, exactly. Basically at TWA all day Friday too, with hopefully a little MGMT mixed in, and Bonobo after Panda Bear. ACC all day Saturday, TWA all day Sunday. Should be able to get some nice spots by the end of the nights.
Edit: Ohhhh yeah, Younger Brother.... I might have to play that one by ear. I really want to see that.

Yeah, I was definitely wondering about that...Be perfect if it was LCD, but that ain't happening.
On Friday, I'm pretty much ACC all night except for Octopus Project and Van Dyke Parks. Hadn't initially planned on seeing MGMT when the lineup came out, but there's really nothing else I'm TOO interested in in their timeslot, so may as well give 'em a shot. Really, really excited about Dan Deacon and Girl Talk. Never seen either of 'em before and have always wanted to. So, to recap, this is pretty much my final schedule:
Friday: The Octopus Project>Big Boi>MGMT>Parks>Deacon>Girl Talk Saturday: Nosaj Thing>Caribou>Jonsi>Matmos (or may catch tail-end of Thievery to post up for MA)>Massive Attack>Four Tet Sunday: Shout Out Out Out Out>Sleigh Bells>Neon Indian>Hot Chip>Dam-Funk
Also, just noticed that School of Seven Bells ends at 7:50 now, 40 min before Jonsi starts. I take that as a positive sign for Jonsi's set-up.
Friday: Dan Deacon ambient set --> Octopus Project --> Big Boi --> bit of MGMT --> RJD2 --> Deacon --> Girl Talk --> Bonobo? Saturday: Mountain Man --> School of Seven Bells --> Jonsi --> Thievery Corp. --> Massive Attack --> Four Tet --> Konika Sunday: Shout Out Out Out Out --> Omar Souleyman --> Neon Indian --> Hot Chip --> Dam-Funk
I'd love to see Caribou, but I've seen them three times already and want to make sure I'm able to see Jonsi, so I'm just going to stay in TWA. Not to say I'm not looking forward to School of Seven Bells
The only show I think I may have difficulty getting into is Four Tet. Staying for all of Massive Attack and thinking the Orange Peel will be packed by the time I get over there

Supposedly, they're going to keep everyone as updated as they can via capacities and such via Twitter and the Moogfest app. I will leave Massive Attack a few min. early if I have to to make sure I get in for Four Tet.

Wonder if they'll get anyone to replace them. I imagine it'd be tough on such short notice
Surprised at the amount of people bitching on the MoogFest site about it. The ticket agreement clearly says NO REFUNDS and ARTISTS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. And it's only one act. If Massive Attack (act I'm most looking forward to) canceled (god forbid), I'd be bummed, but it'd just mean I'd get to see Dam-Funk
^^ I feel bad for incessant whinners. Bob cut his hand. There are more important things in life than an appearance at a music festival. Sucks ... but what are you gonna do. Am I sad ... Yes, but I'd rather them be ok than ham fist through some classics.
Doubtful on the replacement.
We were on the phone yesterday with Mark Mothersbaugh and Gerald Casale from Devo. In spite of Bob's horrible accident, both of them are still coming to Moogfest and they are working on a couple of performance ideas, including a possible collaboration with another band/artist. We're all still discussing the possibili...ties but both Mark and Gerald have promised something immensely entertaining, at the very least.
ACC/TWA is like a 10 minute walk from The Orange Peel.
