Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It's on a Saturday, and i's over a holiday weekend! (Out-of-towners are welcome to crash at my place... as long as you're not creepy or anything)
Talk is that tickets will go on sale next weekend. I'll sign up for the mailing list to get pre-sale tickets edit: nevermind, it costs $50 to be part of their "community" and get access to pre-sale tix.

I've never seen them live, but I'm really not excited about the thought of it either...... I feel like I should be, because I know they put on a great show, but I can't see myself spending money on it.
^ I feel 'ya! I'm a huge fan of "old-school U2" (which reminds me: I need to crank up 'October' today!) but their newer stuff is about as exciting as flossing my teeth. Still, they're one of my few Bucket List bands who are touring nearby, so I won't miss it. And I will probably revert to my giddy teenage self & squeal over Larry!
Yeah but Vandy stadium isn't very big... and no matter how much I like an artist/band, I'm not shelling out $264 for a ticket (unless it's Elvis or Led Zeppelin).
Oh, good idea for a thread. Who would you be willing for shell out $264 to see?
Quite honestly nobody who is currently touring or still around. The only one that is even rumored to be considering a tour is The Kinks. I might also pay that much for a Dire Straits reunion (not happening) or talking heads reunion (even more not happening).
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver

Hey, my name is Chris. I portray The Edge in a U2 tribute band named UZoo based here in Nashville: www.u2act.com
We are really excited U2 is coming to Nashville and we're trying to get a big preshow event/party organized in Nashville for July 1 - the night before U2 hits the stage. UZoo will play your favorite U2 songs at the event.
If you're interested in attending, please join the Facebook Group we created for the event.

If we get a good enough Inforooster crowd in Nashville for the show, I will host a cookout at my house that weekend.... maybe on Sunday, the 3rd. Fireworks and all!
Ticketmaster and I are having a fight right now... it keeps telling me it can't process my request. This after it makes me wait while it searches for tickets and brings up the tickets, but when I click continue, it says it can't process the request and makes me start all over. GRRRR
Anyone else having luck with the venue pre-sale??
EDIT: ok, finally started working. I managed to snag three (couldn't get four) cheap seats. Section M row 40... not great, but if something better comes along, I'm sure we can sell them.

I got shut out...it took a few minutes before the page refreshed with the sale info (like at 10:03) and then it never let me buy 2 general admission seats.
