Well, there's not much parking at the Mellow Mushroom. That's kind of my issue... we'll probably have to park on the West End side of campus and hike it over there.

Danielle (girlfriend) & I (Derek) are in for a pre show meet up and anywhere is suiting. Nobody seems to have any super strong opinions on the matter so I'd just say make an executive decision JHO and we'll all be cool with it. Most of all I look forward to the opportunity to hang out with all you fine folks again.

I'm also hoping Will will be looking to bring some taping gear in with him for posterity's sake. If I haven't said it enough thanks for all the bonnaroo sets you've posted. Early on you mentioned having several from Thursday without actually specifying which. Have they all gone up now or is more stuff on the way yet. Specifically I'm curious about Deerhunter which several other people have made requests for but you've given no indication about it so I don't hold out too much hope on that. Still I'm always appreciative for whatever surfaces in any given year.

I wont be bringing any audio stuff tpo u2, just my camera.
and the thurs shows... i got futurebirds,waaves,the knux and j cole. i was at deerhunter, just didnt haul my taping stuff there, much easier not carrying all that stuff around, haha
I'm In... I love Mellow Mushroom.. how hard will it be to get a parking spot there?
There is a parking garage with reasonable rates just one block away from MM.
It may be a bit busy so multiple tables (not together) may be necessary to get seated.
As for the distance from there to the stadium, it's not a long walk and probably more convenient getting out after the show since you'd be parking offsite (not in the mix of the exodus in the N lot). Just my opinion...
Y'all pick the place... I'd be happy with a food truck burger & a brown-bag beer! I'm not a real fan of Sitar (at least not the one here) but everything else sounds great! Just no Calypso Cafe taco salad - I'd be too full to survive the show!
YES! Rotier's! It's definitely got a "dive" vibe... like, you might not be surprised to see a cockroach (though I never have). BUT, it is really some of the best food in Nashville. Burgers, meat n three, good beer selection, and soda in glass bottles!
Also their fried pickles are the 2nd best I've ever had... that's saying something.
So.... I reckon they are bringing the Claw thingy. Jake has been asked to work the show pretty much for the entire fourth of July weekend. They told him to be prepared to work 10-12 hours on July 3 taking it all down.
^ Sounds good to me! I was just reading their menu - this might be the only meat-and-three I've ever been to that serves both chicken gizzards AND Guinness. This is gonna be finger-lickin' awesome!
