Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
i am surprised no one has listed Rabbit in the Moon as a "I wish they were playing..." not surprising they arent there though, the relationship between Ultra and RITM is not the best...definitely a production you need to look into if you haven't heard them...
Coming from Toronto and strongly considering heading down to MIA for this. The website for the fest is useless. I have no idea what party of Miami it is. So what neighbourhood should I be looking for hotels/hostels in???
Ultra takes place in Bicentennial Park, there's a Hilton is in walking distance...
there's an international hostel in Miami Beach, but you might want to look around downtown if you don't want to rent a car...
Agreed with the purdy lights, his Bonnaroo set last year was ridiculous! His new EP 4+4=12 is his best yet, in my opinion. I'm sure he will have the cube at Ultra. I know Bonnaroo gives headliners open slots with no competition. I'm assuming that Ultra still has all of the stages and tents going even when the headliners hit the main stage?
Yes, at any given time there are like 6-10 things to see. The headliners ARE opposed

Are you driving or flying? Cheapest hotel i've seen in miami is called city inn, 39.99 a night. But it's a ways from downtown... 10 min drive or so. If you dont have a car you'd have to take a cab.. might be a bus stop nearby, im not sure. Anyways parking in miami is like $20-30 the weekend of ultra so it's nearly same price as a cab
we will be flying to Miami. i dont mind taking a cab as long as i could get one! at Epicenter music fest in LA i had to wait almost 2hr to get a cab after the shows

I didnt say its a nice place. i said it was cheap. Miami is a pretty ghetto city, at least most of it. If you're not staying in an area within a mile or less of the bayside area near where ultra is, and paying 200-500 a night, it's most likely going to be kind of ghetto.
good luck tho
Haha that article DOES make it sound BAD tho. Pretty funny article. Sorry dude, I pass it every day going down I95 one my way home from work. I just knew it was cheap because I always see the sign

It still says there are no backpacks allowed. Or cameras of any kind and that they sell disposable cameras inside, which is a worse rule than no outside alcohol at summer camp. What's the deal?

To top if off, there ARE little sinks set up in the park for hand washing. And last year they were turned off (presumably to discourage free water) But there were little soap dispensers, which still had soap in them. So a ton of people, myself included, filled their hands with soap, expecting to wash them, only to find the sinks were turned off. So then you feel like an idiot standing there with soapy hands and no water.

I had some friends who were planning on selling their tickets for Friday and/or satuday... this is really going to screw them over:
Dear UMF Attendee
If you are reading this, then you already know the good news. You will be part of the most anticipated festival of the year, Ultra Music Festival. As you may have heard, Ultra is sold out. This is great news as we are now completely focused on Ultra's new state of the art production, and setting the stage for the most incredible weekend of your life. With almost 50,000 people attending each day, we feel a few choice words are in order to ensure everything goes off without a hitch, and you have an incredible ULTRA EXPERIENCE that will never be forgotten.
-For the first time, we are 100% SOLD OUT in advance. As such, tickets are more valuable than they have ever been, so treat them like the money you spent on them. DO NOT MISPLACE YOUR TICKET. There will be no reissues for lost or stolen tickets.
-As you will notice, you will only receive ONE, three-day ticket for the event. There are NO single day tickets and your ticket will not be exchanged for a bracelet as some of you thought. This same ticket must be used for entry on each day of the event. Each ticket will only be valid for one use each day. NO EXCEPTIONS
-To help you through the weekend, we have shipped each ticket in a clear ticket pouch with a lanyard attached. This pouch can be worn around you neck and will protect your ticket from the elements and prevent it from being lost or misplaced, so be sure to USE IT!
-In closing, we could not be more excited for March 25th to arrive. Please bring us your best, and we will provide the same; remember, it it all about the experience!

They will be playing at an electronic festival outside of Baltimore called Starscape this year and I'm definitely intrigued. Never heard of them but I saw a clip of a live performance of Mind Fuct on the festival's website and it looks like a great stage show. The guy has alot of showmanship and the production is very psychedelic. Lookin forward to it.
