He was about 15 mins late for Lolla, Radiohead was 10 mins. and RATM was 25 mins and ppl were going crazy (Don't know about NIN or Wilco since I didn't see their sets).
Do you not see the difference in Radiohead being 10 minutes late for some (likely) small sound issues and Kanye West being in over 2 hours late because he was in another state and making others end their show (when they weren't scheduled to)?
zuma, when i saw kanye on tour in 08, he was late. Had me asking, "where are you yeezy?"
Was he 2 hours late? Was there a scheduled time for him to preform on his tour or are you just counting 30 mins after Rihanna or NERD preformed?

Well, I don't remember if there was an exact time or how long i waited 2 1/2 years ago, but i do know, as a fan, i remember waiting more than i remember anything he performed.
Eminem? No thanks. Good rapper but he hasn't made great music since the early 00's.
I don't know about his live show, but Recovery was one my favorite albums from last year
(plus the #1 selling album of 2010, not that sales prove quality )
Not my cup of tea, was a step up from the stupid accents he tried on Relapse but the production was way too poppy for me. Sampling the Night at The Roxbury song and having Pink & Rihanna wasn't what Im looking for when I think of an Eminem album but to each their own.
NO.... I am a firm believer in forgive and forget, but I'm not much for repeating mistakes. and being on the farm in '08, I can say for certain that Kanye was a huge mistake... plus I just don't foresee the roo crowd accepting him with open arms. just my opinion

How do you know that it was ready? Just b/c the set is in place doesn't mean that the wiring and technical aspects of it were done. Oh I'm sorry you were in the crowd 200 feet away so you know everything that was going on backstage...
Actually many boardmembers do get back stage, and many were backstage during that fiasco and overheard many non-headie things about Kanye's attitude and refusal to go on stage. Stop questioning people's knowledge of subjects that YOU were probably 200 MILES away from.
I wasn't there in 2008, but I would enjoy his show. Also, your opinion doesn't matter because we're just a message board of 'Roo fanboys/girls, not SP/ACE execs... So... What's the point in arguing? If he gets booked and you're still butthurt about it, don't go.
