It is with a heavy heart I have to say I am now unable to go to Bonnaroo this year. I have 2 VIP tickets up for grabs that I will sell for $700 per ticket. I prefer to sell them as a pair, but can be open to selling single tickets if two people show interest at the same time. I also had booked a hotel room June 10 and one June 14th so if someone wants a hotel room for the night before Roo and the night after Roo I am willing to change over the name on the reservation. If there is a thread for selling tickets could someone link it to me? I searched but couldnt find anything.
I'm so sad that you can't go.. but I am actually looking for an extra ticket for one of my friends
First time going to roo and I'm going VIP. I'm really excited, but am still in the dark about any tent rules. Is there a limit to the size of tent I can set up? I have an older smaller tent that tends to collapse on itself with any wind and I have a giant new 12 person tent that's pretty incredible. I would LOVE to bring the new one, but I don't want to piss off anyone around me. I wonder if it'd even fit in the space with the jeep I'm driving haha! Any info on this would be so greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance and can't wait to see everyone in June!!!!
First time VIP'er here. I am driving in overnight from Maryland(added 2 hours to my drive to see Mumford in Maryland) and I am wondering what time the VIP dinner and stuff is? I should be in camp by 11-11:30am. I am gonna want to sleep the afternoon away but dont want to miss out on VIP perks

PM me your phone number. I will call you and wake your @ss up.
It's usually around 7PM. But go early. They start the feeding trough before they say they do. And you DON'T want to miss out on that cream corn.

555-555-5555 We will probably nap till around 3-4. Just need to get a few hours rest. It will also depend on the Thursday schedule what we do as well. Thanks for the info

This will be my 4th 'Roo and second time VIP we had enough space for a Dodge 1500 extended cab truck, 10'x10' EZup, and a 6 person Colman instant tent....Just as a suggestion tho your not going to be spending a lot of time in your tent except to sleep...during the day, regardless of your set up, its going to be an oven in your tent. I recommend a tent large enough to sleep and change in but small enough to cover with an EZ up incase of rain. During the heat the EZ up will give you shade but still be open enough for air circulation and serve as the alternate rain coverage for your tent in that off chance. You can get the EZ up and tent at Academy or Dicks for around $125
After bringing 12'x15' tent my first Roo in GA I can say for sure... leave it at home.

I have RV and companion parking passes. Where do the companion vehicles park? Is it possible to get companion vehicle, truck, and pop tent in one spot and still have room for EZ up for outdoor space? Just trying to plan our travel so I know the best way to pack us in. Thanks for the info in advance!

I can only speak from experience in GA RV area but the campanion pass allows you to park an additional vehicle in your camp space. Your truck and pop up camper will take up about half of your space. In the other half you can park the companion vehicle and the remaining space you will use as your lounge area. Im guessing you will probably have enough room for two ez-ups there and its possible that there may be more space per spot in VIP as well

I tried to nap in the afternoon after setting up camp my first year as well. Unless you are a narcoleptic I don't believe this is possible, but good luck to you.

The first year we went, we drove through the night and I took like a 2 hour nap after setting up our camp. We have a 10 hour drive so I should be able to catch about 3 hours of sleep in the car and then 2 hours of sleep on the farm and I should be good to go.

This will be my first Roo. We are going VIP. I actually borrowed a tent, but am sketchy on if we will have enough room for it. I drive a Jeep Patriot that is 14.5x5.75. The tent I borrowed is 14x9. Does that work in relation to the camping spaces? I've scoured this site and Bonnaroo's, but can't seem to find any actual dimensions. Any help would be great!

A good estimate for camp site dimensions is 15 ft x 30 ft.
Park your car parallel to the roadway and you'll have plenty of room.

So you have a pickup truck and a pull behind popup camper? Yes, you will also have room for a car and an EZ-UP as well. Will be a squeeze but it will work.

Does any body have any experience with companion lot parking? How far away is it? Is it more of a hassle to have a companion vehicle? Any experiences, advice would be helpful, thanks.

First time VIP RVer here...I thought I read on a board somewhere that there is a truck that services RVs with fresh water for a fee, and a way to empty grey and black tanks. Can anyone confirm this for me so I can be prepared?
First time going to Roo and we are doing VIP. At Hangout VIP last year there was free bottled water, domestic beer, snacks, etc. Do VIP people get any freebies such as these? Would like to know so I can pack accordingly.

You get free beer and food on Thursday night dinner only. No free water or any other drinks They do have free ice-cream at certain times of day, and there is usually lots of fruit available in the lounges.

I mean, there is free water. But it's free for everyone, and comes out of the mini-mushrooms spread around the farm.

"You can take as big of a space as you need in VIP camping. Typically we will say 10x10, but if you need more room, there is plenty of it! Let us know if you have additional questions."
This will be my 4th VIP roo and it has always been spray painted rectangles of about 15'x30'.
This may explain why VIP sold out with such a sub-par lineup? I really doubt this though, and expect to have the same painted lines this year.
I've heard two different answers. Is there a VIP pit for one of the stages and does VIP have priority access to the comedy and cinema tents?
Vip pit at which, alleged priority access at what pits. Priority Comedy access, no priority cinema access
pretty sure I just skipped the line at the cinema tent last year and walked in after showing my VIP wristband? but I don't remember what movie I saw so I might be full of shit.
but I definitely remember the front couple of rows in the cinema tent being reserved for VIP. and I remember sitting in them. I think.

I want to believe! Ill be putting it to the test for the R kelly sing along. I thought cinema lines were the same for ticket grabs, but VIP gets priority seating once they have a ticket
Could've sworn the little flyer that came with our tickets did say VIP perks at the Cinema Tent.
just reviewed the flyer and there is no mention of Cinema Tent perks. I could've sworn there were though. I remember sitting in the second row and watching something last year. shit. what was it? ten years of sobriety and i still always screw up my memories.

Damn, I must be hallucinating already. I thought it was in the same sentence with the Comedy Tent. I was so prepared to be up front for Corey.

Many thanks!
Yes, both fresh water and pumper trucks make the rounds. Last year is was $50 cash for each, you had to be there, they mostly came in the morning so it wasn't too hard to catch them. I remember one guy lobbied me real hard for a tip which was slightly annoying considering.
We had to fill once and pump once. But my wife likes to take showers in the morning AND at night. I sent the teens to the regular showers to compensate.
I'm lobbying for as many generator exhaust diverters as possible among RVers, the worst thing is breathing all that exhaust. My CO detector kept going off last year and I wasn't even running my generator!

Are you talking about a companion vehicle for an RV? Typically you can squeeze it in next to the RV.

What do you think they will say about me camping in the VIP RV area with a tiny Toyota Prius and no RV? I had to buy tickets (like an idiot) on StubHub, and they didn't come with the parking pass. Imagine my panic when the stuff arrived and I realized... The only item not sold out at this time was the VIP RV Parking upgrade for $250, so I grabbed that.
I will ask to camp in the VIP camping area, but if they say no I'll go choke on diesel smoke in the RV section. Not about to miss my first Roo in 6 years!
