At this point I don't think so...unless someone has to pull out at the last minute. There may be a few more acts added to the kids stage or something like that. But the majority of the fest is pretty set at this point. I think they are working on the logistics at this point more than anything else....

so they were lying in that interview when he said they were adding more hip hop, female soul singers and dubstep and stuff?
Do you know if press credentials get you access to the late nights as well?
Hmm...good question. I'll shoot Crissa an email and see....
Email sent....I'll let you know if/when I get a response...
It always takes Crissa atleast a week to get back to us.
Anyways, we covered it last year and we didn't get access to anything for free. You don't even get backstage access really, you just get access to the media tent. If the artists take you in to the artist area (which they often do), you can go there, but other than that you don't get much other than tickets and a place to interview people.

Yeah, that's all I was really expecting. Late night access would be nice, though. Otherwise I'll probably just skip the late shows, unless they add someone awesome inside the restaurant on Friday.
Yeah she takes a while to get back...course she's busy doing a lot of stuff too.
I had no problems at all last year....did you have photo passes? It was really easy to get around in the photo pits last year....much better than Roo. More like VooDoo except even less crowded. For Rod y Gabby we got to shoot like the whole dang show! It was incredible. They are a lot more laid back than some of the festies....but yeah if you just have media passes there isn't a lot you can do. I would encourage you to try to get interviews with some of the artists. This is one of the few festivals that actually HELPS you get that set up. I had an interview with Davey Knowles and Back Door Slam last year. Not many festies actually HELP you get interviews set up....

We do know that Motorhead is playing, according to their website. It could just be a surprise show, or even with the Foo Fighters, but it's conceivable they're saving a few bands for a last push to sell out.

I bet we get a few additions when the schedule comes out. If the only remaining unannounced artist is Motorhead, it wouldn't make sense for them to sit on the announcement. Motorhead alone isn't going to convince a lot of people on the fence to buy a pass. Motorhead plus a few other artists might, though, especially if the other additions are equally left field.

Yeah, they're good about interviews. They helped us get it set up with The Meters and ALO. Of course we got Guster, NMA, and Rachel Goodrich Band on our own .
I'm so ready for this fest. Last years was so much fun! Stayin' in the first condo behind the mainstage....beach balcony, gonna be enjoying that view while listening to daytime bands tear it up!

What's the scene like at Hangout Fest? I'm considering going since I might be able to get a real nice condo not too far away...but I'm hesitant. I imagine a "SPRING BREAK WOOOOHOOOO!" crowd and a bunch of mean cops all over the place.
Deetank- the scene at Hangout last year was like this- 25% locals/randoms, 10% wooks, 40% young hippie-ish kids, 25% older heads. Overall, I'd say about 30% of the crowd was hot, scantilly clad babes. The 6-UP were not a problem, except for the sloppy wooks. Festival was pretty much a free for all, we raged it hard as fuck! Mule @ sunset w/ waves crashing.....dancing hard in the sand losin' my face, good times!
Does anyone know how quickly the late night extra sets sold out last year? Or if they've sold out already? ???
Last year Keller was the only late night extra so hard to say. He sold out but it was only a couple weeks before....this year hard to say. I think there are still tix for most late nights right now. It will start to fill up closer to the fest tho...
