Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
it looks like they might have put some of the vending they had last year off the board walk/ main route down on the sand hopefully. walking between the main stages killed me in that sand. you usually walk the beach down by the water where its not 8in soft sand.
but the worse thing i can biznatch about is have to walk barefoot too far in beautiful soft white sand. its gonna be a tough weekend!
That is very true, though. After last year I was really hoping they would put a walkway down on the water side of the fest the length of the festival site. It does look like there may be a walkway coming out from the main stage on the map. Hopefully that's the case. You can wear yourself out pretty quickly if you try and run back and forth too many times in that soft sand.
But, that is a pretty good problem to have.
What are yall's biggest conflicts??
Mine are definitely: -Friday with the block of grace potter>warren haynes>mmj being the same time as honey island swamp>greensky>railroad earth (big shows versus small shows, I'll prob mix this up in some way but not sure yet)
-Sunday when black keys/galactic/justin townes earle are all at the same time. I have no idea.
Do you still need a place to crash in Auburn on Wednesday night? And how many of you would there be?
we booked a hotel in opelika. was just looking to see if anyone wanted to meet up.
If you're looking for something to do in Opelika, try downtown (it's a tiny downtown) at 8th & Rail (it's at the corner of 8th & the railroad tracks). Cool bar with live music. Other than that, Auburn is just a 10 minute drive down the road. Have fun.

Does anybody know of any free or cheap parking close to the festival or close to the end away from orange beach? Our condo is like 3 miles from the first line so it kind of seems pointless for the shuttle pass, so we are just gonna try and park somewhere close to our end of the beach.

Scope out the condo/residential area a couple of blocks OFF Beach Rd...esp beyond WINGS....in AL it is legal to park on the street in front of unrented condos or vacant lots....take advantage! But make SURE it is vacant or you could get towed....
I am leaving from Jackson with the kids 9:30 on Friday so we might make it to MMJ yet. Look around for the guy with the beard and the exceptionally awesome kids
Jess, glad you're taking the kids. Me too. I remember when you were deciding if you wanted to.
Everybody, I can't wait! I would love to meet some of you, but not sure how. Would like to meet up at the afterparty friday but not sure if it will be possible. I'll be the bald guy with the Indiana Jones looking tilley hat having a great time.
The car is packed. The family is in bed. The beer is cold. MMJ is sounding beautiful.
Looks like The Pink Pony is now within the festival. This place is going to be crowded. Take the Avett Brothers vs. Pretty Lights. If there are 35,000 tix sold, then there may be 20,000 people at Avetts. Holy cow! I need to adjust may visions of last year.
And the Boom Boom Room looks like a Bonnaroo style tent. Are those screens on the secondary beach stage? The crowds at MMJ and the Black Keys going to be packed on that stage
I hope there is not as much seaweed down ft. morgan road as there is in the pic either.
If you see me, say Corncat and I'll know where you're from. We'll share a moment and maybe more.
I can't wait to see what kind of strange looks I get when I do this! Altough it might not be as priceless as when Jade & I yelled it in the crowd leaving the Roger Waters show in ATL. We knew that some Inforoosters were there (Bamadancer, ChicoJuarz, WolfmanJess) but we didn't have cell service to call...so we just yelled "CORNCAT" --- repeatedly. Sadly, no "NOM NOM NOM" responses...just reeeeeally bizarre looks!
I'll have my Inforoo water bottle & my straw hat w/Bonnaroo & other various concert pins on it. See y'all soon!
PS - Since we're not having a cookout @ Bamadancer's, are we still on for the FloriBama on Friday after WSP??? ???
oh damn. I wish I were going. you guys are going to have so much fun. Plus I haven't been to the FloraBama in a couple years and need to make an appearance...
Top 5 things I want to see at Hangout (that most likely won't happen).
1. Ween playing The Mollusk front to back on the beach. 2. Paul Simon playing "Oh, Marion," "Run that Body Down," "Duncan," and "Papa Hobo," despite not playing any of these songs at any of his other shows this year. 3. Galactic switching places with Michael Franti so I don't have to miss them during The Black Keys. 4. The Flaming Lips deciding to make it a Soft Bulletin show after all. 5. Half of the crowd getting raptured away so I can get closer to Paul Simon.

dr. Teeth... If you see a bearded, tattooed guy that looks unmistakably like the guy in the picture to the left of this post, holler "grizzlepickle" at him and he'll buy/throw you a beer.

Damn girl...you should yell louder! Chico and I were in ATL like 7th row on the floor. Never heard it or we would have responded! ;D
Sadly, I have had to cancel my trip to Hangout due to family health issues. You guys have extra fun for me and my BFF! She needs me more than Hangout this weekend.
Sorry to hear about the health issues. On a lighter note we just rolled thru Nashville. Smart phones ftw. Running completely on red bull and cigs and maybe some non mentionables. Gonna be awesome getting a nap on the beach beforehand. Excited as fuck n can't sleep with my buddy blasting jj grey n mofro.
add another state to the list of shows i get thrown out of. half hr left of dumstafunk. i get drunk and think i can smoke anywhere lol. dam deathstar. young kid was a jerk too. you know how they feel tough when they escort you out. walking out he's talking about taking my wristband. we came to the conclusion that i am gonna just still be cool and leave quietly.it was just us as he walked me out. i told him if he tries to take my wristband i have nothing to loose, and he would not look too pretty for the ladies all weekend w a black eye. stalemate, he let me go w a smile.
