Just announced by SCI, they will be holding a festival at Double JJ on the weekend of the 4th. It will not be called Rothbury, and the lineup is out in a little under two weeks.

it was announced by the Electric Forest, first but i'm pretty stoked!! i just hope it's not a 3 night event for SCI. unless of course they're going to bring a really strong undercard and charge me less than Rothbury.

check out Insomniac events. they have killer connections to a lot of the electro, and jam-electro bands/dj's. i can only imagine what they will do with the forest!!

I might be down, I'm going to need to see a lineup first cause I'm not doing three nights of sci. Its a simple matter of been there done that, however, last time i was at this venue i went solo from pa and when i got home an talked it up to the bonnacrew everyone was game for last year... what a disappointment!

I think we'll def get 3 nights of cheese, plus other Madison House artists. They could make a pretty decent lineup just with these acts.

the more i've thought about it, the more i'm willing to concede multiple nights of SCI. they're show at Roth 09 was one of the best nights of my life, so it's not really reasonable for me to think they couldn't blow my mind more than once.

I personally think it's exciting that there will be music action back in the woods I'm liking the SCI 3-night bonanza, but I'm anxious for more! The initial line-up is coming next Monday!! Who all do you guys think will be there?
how much were tickets for the original Rothbury? it says tier 1 is $199 and then 2 jumps to $239 (plus fees). Sounds like bonnaroo ticketing with the fees and layaway plans and whatnot
Not a stellar line up, for my tastes. Theres some good stuff hidden in there (Karl Denson, Lettuce, Bonobo) and 3 nights of SCI would be nice ... But I gotta pass on this.

Lots of good stuff in there, but not for the ticket price. I like SCi but not 3 nights in a row. I'll be at All Good, hopefully. Final decision to be made by significant other and she's really into electronic music right now.

I'll be at Blue Heron with my kids that week. So I'm glad this isn't fantastic because that is their favorite festival of the year. Then All Good a few weeks later. All for about the same price.
