So I just realized PEX Summer Festival is the same weekend. A lot closer to me (probably closest camping festival altogether!) and probably a lot more realistic solely based on location. Anyone ever been? I might start a new thread about it and get people's opinions on it.

Yeah, I chatted her up at the C Bus show. She was really, really nice, even worked the merch booth for the band during set break. (I bought my wife the new CD). From what I understand, her brother is the guitarist and her husband plays percussion, at least that's what someone told me. They're all talented musicians, and I love how they have their own sound.
to be fair, the people on the boards called him an intern, and he has denied it plenty. not that it means anything, really, but i wouldn't use him as a source
Yeah. regardless if he is or not, I think plenty of people are hopin they'll be there. I warned that it could be a joke or somethin, but ya never know... I have a feeling they'll show up in the lineup. we shall see.

I started the first rothbury on my birthday!! missed the 2nd one... so have to go back!!! really stoked for 3 nights of SCI, Tiesto, Pretty Lights, Stephen Marley, KASKADE!!, Sphongletron, GALACTIC, RAILROAD EARTH!, The New Deal, EOTO, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Toubab Krewe, Beats Antique, Eskmo, and more.........

true. I guess "competitor" is a better word to use. More infobury users but many dont post I bet. I still dont see as much activity as I'd like on there (I guess havin inforoo to compare with doesnt help, lol. Like the rideshare board is kinda lacking, but itll probably do better closer to the fest)
I only have like 3 bookmarked threads that arent really having frequent new posts. I guess all the generic camping/festival advice threads I have bookmarked on here already though. dont need *too* much info from there to watch out for.

If you love the String Cheese Incident, I see no difference than this and a Phish Fest. Shit, if someone held a festival with 3 nights of the Knife and a Fever Ray Performance, I would pay 300, even if they undercard was terrible.
