Getting really excited now...less than 3 weeks away. I just decided to rent a car and will be driving down from Chicago on Wednesday. The rental was a b!tch and a half but it will be worth it. Driving down with my friend who is flying in from New Jersey a couple days in advance. Not sure if we'll have any room depending on all of our gear, but a caravan sounds cool. Who all from the Chicago area is going VIP?

We booked a hotel about an hour from Manchester for Wednesday night so probably drive down Wednesday morning. Last year we checked into our hotel at like 1 am and that sucked having to wake up a few hours later to rush to Manchester.
I got screwed over on my rental car so I have to book through a new company. Avis quoted me at $306 and I called them back today to confirm and out of nowhere they tell me my initial quote was wrong and it would be well over $100 more. Ugh. I'd be more interested in going with someone after dealing with this crap...but unless you have an SUV I'm assuming my two big EZ Ups would take up way too much room.
