Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
For financial reasons, the only way I can attend is to join one of the work exchange programs where you work and they pay for your ticket...etc...
Right now this is all in speculation...but I may have a few spots left in my car... Pickup truck so we have room,
but I am required to get there by 3 pm on wednesday...and you wouldn't be able to come in with me that early unless you are also working. So basically I could drop you off as close as possible and youd have to find your way in/camp on your own ( drop you off at walmart and maybe another inforoo-er can bring you in?)
I'm from the metro-east St. Louis area. This will be my fifth non consecutive year.
@noodle, I did the volunteer deal the last two years and found a car pooler each year. It worked out great for me. If it's the only way you can go, I'd recommend it! It's the only way I'll go alone, as the separate campground is a bit more comforting to me than the wilds of Bonnaroo.

Don't have room to provide a ride, but would be interested in meeting up. Spending Wednesday night in Nashville. Breakfast at Pancake Pantry, Lunch at Jack's and last supper at Monnell's. Drinks after somewhere on Broadway.
Noodle, it's better than that. It's the only way I'll solo-roo. There are perks that come with volunteering that rival VIP. You'll have a great time as long as you are flexible and keep a positive attitude. Even when I couldn't see the bands I wanted to see, I was enjoying the atmosphere.
I'm only buying tickets this year cause my hubby is going, but I will miss volunteering.
Northwest Indiana looking to maybe form a caravan down there. This will be my first Roo. I was gonna leave after work on weds around 4 or 5 but then I will have to drive all night and get to the farm and not have slept in 24 hrs already. Anyone think I should plan other wise? I figurged I can get a quick nap in before it all starts hopefully.

My buddy and I, (my third year, his first) as usual for me, we took Wednesday off work and will be driving down. staying the night close around Roo. wake up early and get in Thursday. IMO, that is the best plan of attack.
Yea I was alomst thinking that since I might be driving by myself for 8hrs saying I dont stop and work and all I might be pretty beat by time I get there. Once I get there I know I wont sleep much but then I would have to use 4 vacation days becasue I plan to stay the night sun and drive back monday. I guess if I took weds off I could take my time and see the sites along the way.
If you stay in the Nashville area on Wed night, we're going to have an Inforooster meet up that evening. So you can meet some folks before Roo even starts!

We'll start a thread as time gets closer and people are finalizing their travel plans. Last year we all met at a bar around 7:00-ish (I think?). There were around 15 of us or so. I'd love to have a bigger group this year!
aurora il-2nd roo! more than happy to caravan down. we head down 65 thru indiana (picking up someone in indy).
I live real close to 65 so depending on where you hop on at I can meet up with you guys maybe. Keep me posted as to when you will be leaving, if you will camp by your car or move to TO, etc etc.

Glad to see others from the area enjoying 'Roo. Honestly, you're the first I've seen from the outer burbs going.
I'm not actually in DeKalb, but in a little village called Shabbona. If you're going down Rt. 30, you pass right through my quaint little hamlet I call home.

I'll be taking 39 down to 74 then from there to 150 and so forth. At least, that's what Google Maps tell me to do. This'll be my first 'Roo so I'm just flying by the seat of my pants at this point.
Edit!: I just checked Google Maps and your route wouldn't be that much farther for me. Shabbona is only about a half an hour away from Aurora anyway so it might just be worth the little extra time in order to caravan rather than just driving all by my lonesome, haha.
I think a caravan would be sweet and does help with the ride I would think. I know a decent pizza sports bar near 65(maybe 0.2 miles from the 65 exit) which might be a good meeting place but that can be worked out closer to June
