LINEUP IS RAD. Looks better to me than Roo ALL my favorites THIEVERY, Ray, DAVID GRAY (WHO IS AMAZING LIVE, btw), Dr. Dog, Franti, Grace Potter, Lisa Hannigan, Amos Lee, and more. Right in my back yard!
Unfortunately, tickets are pretty steep. GA (3 day ticket) is $195. Budgets tight, so idk.

There's nothing wrong with natty. It's cheap, light, does the trick. Oh, did I mention cheap? I live in Jersey, I can fend off the bros and have a good time ANYWHERE. It's about the music. It's a great adaption to foster. Hate on. If you're not interested, do something you enjoy. David Gray puts on an amazing show if you like his material. He really surprised me live.
i absolutely love the lineup. dave and the flaming lips! the other bands are awsome too! there is very little chance i'll be there. No Camping! $35 for a shuttle? by the looks of the cost and arrangements, i think they only want accountants and other people who work for "the man" to attend. kinda like the VIP's at roo. i'm keeping my eye on this even though its all wrong.

Pretty shit that they aren't selling day tickets. I think they could potentially lose out on a lot of sales. I know for sure that I'd be there for for at least one of the days. I can't be the only one. :/
Wow, tickets are expensive; $825 for VIP. That's more than Bonnaroo charges and doesn't include a hotel room/camping. Even going GA is out of the question @ $195 plus hotel.
Sasquatch Summercamp Nocturnal Starscape Waka Roo Electric Forest Hangout and now this plus whatever other festivals I forgot.
^^you dont think thats a bit oversaturation?
There is other dubstep out there. I swear.
I'm asking why oversaturation is bad? not everyone can go to every festival so why would you want to deny someone the chance to see him just because you think he's playing too much at other places.
If My Morning Jacket were playing every single festival this summer and had a long tour I still would be happy that I get to see them and that a lot of other people are getting the chance to see them as well.
^Bassnectar, Primus, and Pretty Lights are at every festival I am planning on this year. Also other than YMSB Harvest Bassnectar was at every festival I did last year. Shit starts to get old after awhile.

Gets old? Well if you're going to every festival they're playing at and going to see their show then yea....I'd agree......but what's the problem with them playing a bunch of festivals so a bunch of different fans from around the country get a chance to see them?

I just get tired of the same acts I guess it does not matter to casual festival fans, but if you do 3+ a year a little variety is appreciated. Especially on a year to year basis.

No festival strived to be different this year is my beef....there is other dubstep.
Maybe cause Im old, or maybe cause of all the trash those darn kids leave on my lawn afterwards....but I just cant get into bassnectar.
I almost got eviserated (sp) by a 19 yo at allgood last summer for making the comment "Tiesto, Bassnectar, what's the fvckin difference" Keeping in mind that this happened about 30 minutes after said 19 yo asked me "who is this" when he heard Uncle John's Band playing on the radio....

A few decent artists, but you get the unfortunate side effect that one of the bands is the Flaming Lips, and that this appearance amongst the Lord Of The Bros will undoubtedly propel their live appearances into even more bro territory than they are now. Based on the usual crowd you get at shows by DMB, combined with appearances by frat-tastic groups like OAR, David Gray, Michael Franti, Ray LaMontagne, Guster, etc., and they might as well have just held this down on the South Quad, by the entrance to the field house. Bring the Natty Light!
Also, this confirms Bassnectar as the King of Brostep.

Yeah, best be careful with that one. Tiesto is the third rail of electronica music.
That all aside I think this would be a great festival. Why all the DMB fan hate? I love being in a crowd of people who are fanatics about the band on stage. Makes for a great atmosphere.

195 is like the same as Lolla.... and with better bands.
The price is a little steep I think for that many band, but I would rather pay that price for the bands playing the Caravan Festival than Electric Forest. I am aware the style of music is different, but the quality of the lineup is overall better with less artists.
Also, surprised how high David Gray is and how low Thievery is on the bill.

Isn't Thievery headlining Nateva? Also I agree the price is pretty high unless they do one on the farm the chances of me going are very very small. That being said I think the chances are pretty good they do one on the farm so who knows.

Jammin, napping same difference I am sure I would at least go to the Saturday show.
