Anyone going to Governor's Island? Anyone been to an event there? I have been wondering about lines for the ferry after the Dave sets... After reading the FAQ, it miiiight be okay:
"I heard the ferry lines can be long, is that true?
The folks NY Waterways will work hard to provide a smooth experience and minimize wait times. There is a very detailed and thought out operations plan in place to get you to and from the island as quickly and easily as possible. We are running a huge fleet of boats that hold between 400 and 1200 people each! We have tripled our departure points to the Island and doubled the docks on Island over the last year. Boats will be able to continuously pull up, load and depart. That being said, at peak times there may be a bit of a wait and we will be launching a Twitter account that is solely dedicated to ferry information to keep folks as updated as possible. Be excited and stay tuned!"
please update again if you get more info on this... im still up in the air on this ticket. i have a feeling this is not going to be a smooth weekend at all getting on and off that island and ny traffic is never fun. im only about an hour and half outside of the city so maybe a single day ticket is the way im going, not sure yet
over all outstanding weekend, all i can say about dmb was two step... wow!

I think we are 90% in for Sunday @ Gov Island. Should be an adventure logistically.
