So y'all think one will be on the farm? I saw somewhere Piedmont park was being rumored. I would take either.
It's a pretty good bet. Coran Capshaw, DMB's manager is part owner of Great Stage Park and one of the big, behind the scenes players in Bonnaroo/Great Stage....

I can pretty much guarantee you it the 4th one won't be on the farm.
1-Atlantic city 2-Midwest (99% sure it's chicago or Alpine Valley) 3-NYC is HEEEEAVILY Rumored. I've also heard maybe Atlanta, but probably not. 4-IS the Gorge, you can bank on that.
Why does everyone think this will happen on the farm? Its a 4 off show. First one being in AC on June 24th
I think Coran Capshaw just spent a large chink of change building a permanent stage at Bonnaroo, and would like to make some money off it. Roofan and I were out there the other day in the middle of February and there was still a crew working on it then. Not a definite but lets be fair a man spends 2 million bucks he expects a return of some sort. Personally I am still holding out for a Phish fest there one of these days.
There is no way they are doing a AC, and a NYC. The Gorge will be labor day weekend from what I have heard. I still think the farm and a one stage setup is a real possibility, but who knows.

You're wrong, get over it. NYC is the most likely possibility. Do you realize how densely populated NYC is? they could sell out a NJ and NY festival no problem.

Gee sorry to bring up an opinion, I guess we will just always defer to you from now on for our Dave Matthews rumors. Like I said I doubt it, that is a ton of over saturation for a festival. If you have some kind of credible info feel free to link it, if not I am still going to speculate as I see fit.
The fact of the matter is that Coran Capshaw is the primary money behind the Bonnaroo grounds, and he is also the money behind the new stage in a large part so they could have other events at the farm. Now Starr Hill (his company started for DMB) is producing a four festival date tour, and it happens they also own this land and a permanent stage he just spent 2 million dollars on. Do you really think speculation he will bring one of the shows there is so off base you have to be a jerk about it? I don't know that it will happen, but it seems pretty possible to me especially considering the lack of quality jam bands at Bonnaroo this year. So get off your high horse dude.
Starr Hill Presents, the promotion company behind Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and several other nationally recognized music festivals, will be producing the event. Starr Hill loves improvisational pop, and Dave Matthews Band has been a star attraction at many of their shows.
Wow, tickets are expensive; $825 for VIP. That's more than Bonnaroo charges and doesn't include a hotel room/camping. Even going GA is out of the question @ $195 plus hotel.
195 is like the same as Lolla.... and with better bands.
I'm not doing any day fests this year unless it's Virgin. I do like the lineup and wish I felt like I could spend the money.
If they do one at the Farm? Different story altogether. ;D
Damnit, I wish they would go ahead and anounce the rest of the dates, so I can decide if Im going or not. Lots of reasons to go, but after bonnaroo I am gonna be pretty broke, still...
David Gray, Ray Lamontagne, Amos Lee, Flips, Franti, Grace Potter, Dr Dog, Theivery Corp. Plus a Dave and Tim set... Damnit man, I need to win the lottery in a badddd way

You seriously need to get over yourself. If you want to dismiss something as being wrong, fine, but while operating in opinion mode, try not to be such a douche. Maybe they will play New York, maybe they won't, time will tell.
The Facts: No one knows where the other 3 festivals will be, however, The Gorge is all but a lock, considering its their favorite venue. As discussed on this thread, Great Stage Park is also a strong possibility.
The Speculations: Based on a tweet from Stefan, plenty of people are speculating that 2 of these festivals will be joint ventures, one with Phish, one with Pearl Jam. The DMB / Phish Fest is a very real possibility, as Dave Matthews and Trey Anastasio are tight. The DMB / Pearl Jam Fest is also a possibility, as Stefan and Mike McCreedy recently started a side project together, and also considering they got started at the same time, and are both celebrating 20 years and such.
My predictions are: DMB / Pearl Jam Fest @ Chicago / Indy / Cincy (somewhere around there) in July (I will be there is this is the case, I just wish it was in TN) DMB / Phish Fest @ Watkins Glen in August
