If no one has come to you with their medical needs it might be because you haven't asked and they never thought of it.
I would attempt to ask people if there are any special needs that you need to be informed with. I would actually create a little questionnaire in PDF and send it out to everyone that has bought a ticket. In it ask them to tell you things like name, address, contact, emergency contact of a person that won't be at a festival...
Ok I'm going to stop and stress the importance of this last one. You are basically in charge of these people for four days. Now I know you can say that you're only in charge of getting them there and home but come on, you are going to be the person that in at the center of this. Ask them for a name of an emergency contact. It needs to be someone that isn't at the festival. Preferably a parent or relative. This way if god forbid something happens, and it does there is a way to help. In my wallet I have always had a little 3x5 card that has my parents names and phone number. Just something that my mother made me carry when I was 15 and started going to music festivals by myself.
Ok back to the list...medical needs including allergies, and any other information they would like to add.
Hell when I plan a weekend getaway to the finder Lakes I ask anyone if there is anything I need to know.
The last thing you want is someone who is traveling without a companion on your bus and having a epileptic seizure without prior knowledge. Just saying.
Also on the topic of things to bring, a first aid kit. Not a lot of first timers remember this one. Yeah there are Med tents at all of the PODS but sometimes when setting up a tent you need a few band aids, or ice packs. I would suggest bringing one large one for your camp because again you are taking on the dad roll to these people, most of which have never attended this festival. They will come to you and ask you questions.
As far as not calling me a troll. Thanks? I do like the debate but in the end I still think there is a lot for you to learn. And thank you for not continuing to tell me what kind of mother I will be when it was revealed that I am already in fact a mother and have been for 8 years.
I'm also doing some hypothetical research right now regarding the bus travel. Right now the only thing that give me a little red flag about your chosen bus company is that they've only been in business for 5 years. I usually like to use companies with a little more credibility but maybe you know them and have used them before, who knows. Again, just saying.
It obvious that you aren't going to take the biggest bit of advise that you've been given here which is to attend this festival on your own and experience it and take notes, then attempt to do this next year. So I guess all you can do is treat this more like a school field trip rather than a travel agency and take all of the advise that has been given to you and realize that you are going into this completely blind.
Also, it would help if you stopped calling the people on her who are active members of this board and Bonnaroo trolls. Because ultimately they are just trying to help you not make the festival a bad experience for anyone including yourself. The fact is you have been very hostile towards the people who know what they are talking about. That won't win you any points.
Your personality reminds me of many of the people that I've worked with in the past, who basically think think that they are geniuses and everything they do will turn out ok just because they want it to. Not always the case. Tone it down a bit. It'll help.
Good luck, but I still think you should have waited until you have actually stepped foot in the town before you attempted this. I will always think that even if come June 14 you come her and tell us all what a wonderful time it was. I don't think you went about this the correct way.
I also just want to thank the people here who have either, A) agreed with me B)defended me C) noticed that it's wrong to question someone elses parenting.
Are the tickets refundable if for any reason we can't make it?
Here is a quote from the person organizing the trip:
jniamehr :
There are no refunds on tickets unless the trip is cancelled for any reason. If someone doesn't want to come because they dont trust me to get them there they can talk to me about it and I will refund the money

Im sorry but I almost died laughing looking at these pictures
I was thinking you could use these as flyers...
If this idea were more organized and had a little more credential I'd be down with it, but the fact is work sucks and money doesn't grow on trees. I'm going to wait on a some friends to see how the carpooling goes.. If all else fails I'll fly in and take Bonnaroo shuttle. At least I personally know my trip is a little more guaranteed. Best of luck to all who do decide to take the bus.

They are non-refundable...
I am giving out refunds to anyone who didnt understand that their may still be a chance that we are walking from the entrance to the campgrounds... this is not the absolute case as we are in discussions with the people over at Roo to get dropped off at the shuttle entrance.
I am flexible though and you can also always resell your ticket to another rooster.
Since your credibility is in question, you have been to Coachella, the Vibes, and Burning Man. I have two questions, In what city did these festivals take place and who was a headliner at each those events?
Maybe my question got lost in the mix, but I would like to know.

Not that this question matters since you can go on the internet and look up the answers and in effect rendering this questions useless but Ill entertain the question anywho...
BM doesnt exactly have any headliners besides the man... I enjoyed doing shabbat at the jewish camp in 2009 it was spiritually uplifting for me. Black Rock City.
Coachella - 2010, Indio, Jay-Z, Muse, Pavement
GOTV- Went before they moved to bridgeport (though I should be going again this summer too) was in Mariaville, NY... This is when Dark Star Orchestra actually impressed me... Bob Weir was great too they did a good job honoring Jerry.
Thanks OP for answering my questions, glad you found your answers by searching the internet. you may have found my questions useless, but your answers prove otherwise.

I've done some research, as of right now the most expencive bus I could charter would cost $160.00 per person based of a total of 50 people. That's including an extra few dollars per person to cover the cost of a hotel room for the driver. I'm still waiting for all of my information to come back before I post all of the numbers I have. But I will. I'm working on a readable spread sheet which will go up here.
This is fun. I love getting competitive quotes from people. It's part of my actual job.

It's nice to be appreciated.
I've only questioned my parents' parenting. And I only did it once!
This is ridiculous. People are still ganging up on this guy?
Take the deal or leave it, you all have entirely too much time to spend on the internet.
This is how I've envisioned Inforoosters the past two years.
Thank you xkcd
Complaining on the internet about people complaining on the internet is quite possibly the only thing more obnoxious than people complaining on the internet. Unless you count people who are complaining on the internet about people who are complaining on the internet about people complaining on the internet.

the problem with this drawing, is the people you describe or are trying in insult, if they acted the way you are assuming they have over the past 2 years, always on the computer, there would not be someone yelling from the bed room, "are you coming to bed yet?". The comic should be mom yelling, "you need to go to bed son, it's past your bedtime", that would be more realistic.
*"come on Mom, one more post in the Arcade, pleeeeeeeeeeeease"

This bus trip is a poorly-organized FOR PROFIT endeavor run by a guy that thinks it's ok to spam every single ride share thread posted by anyone in New England or the northern mid-Atlantic region. In my opinion, which I admit counts for nothing, the fact that he's taking advantage of this free forum to make money should be enough to put an end to this thread. Any other business would have to pay to advertise, why doesn't he?
I almost have all of my quotes back. None of them are anywhere near 200$ per person. You should really make all of the tickets 165.00 and not make money off of these people that don't know any better.
