Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
As it stands now I am MORE into the lineup than ROO....and I know what VooDoo is capable of pulling out in literally a week before the fest. So hang on!
Except I'd probably need to decide way more than a week before hand to head to New Orleans for this.

I totally agree and see your issues.....it takes time to make arragngements for a long trip and festie. Luckily I have enough experience with it to know it is someihg I want to do so I buy as early as I can and reserve rooms as early as I can. But being on the fence is tough.....I feel your pain!
A flight down there would cost me over $300, and that's if I want to leave at 6 am. Or from Boston, which is a nightmare. The better options for my schedule/convenience are about $350 and up. And the only non-stop from the area to Nola is $532 (and from Boston).
Mastodon has had their own tours before. I saw them headline at the HOB in Nola '09 I wanna say on the Crack the Skye tour w/ Kylesa and Intronaut. Great show. Seen them headline at the 40 Watt in Athens with Brian Posehn as well. Best metal show I've ever been to.

Oh, I know they've had plenty of headlining tours in the past. I've seen them headline twice. Since the initial run of Crack the Skye dates in the first half of 2009, though, they've mostly just been opening for Metallica, Deftones, Dethklok/Adult Swim tour, etc. I guess two years isn't really THAT long between headlining tours, but it's frustrating when they've been on the road pretty constantly with bigger bands I have no interest in seeing.
I still need to sell a room at the Holiday Inn Superdome. I have the room for 3 nights with check in on Friday oct 28 and check out Monday Oct 31. Price is $99 per night and that price includes all taxes. I also have 3 day passes for $135 each. Email me at mbeethoven@live.com and lets make a deal.
So if Odd Future was announced as a part of this a month and a half ago, why are they not listed on the website's lineup? And yet Mastodon is, while being announced last week.
I'm like 30-70 on this right now. Oh if I had money and that voice in my head not telling me no.

The site is screwy. They're still playing according to OF interweb. I'm pissed about the flights going up, too. Snag Beethovens tix & hotel, Lowerdeck.^^ Come on, down.
has anyone been reading the Facebook page for Voodoo? Tim Wilkzerson has made an ass of himself for the last 3 weeks or so and has become an icon to make fun of to pass the time between lineup annoucements. Unfortunately, he deleted his account today. But people will still be making fun of him even at the fest.
7/2 - Lotus, MiMoSa, The New Deal, The Glitch Mob 7/3 - Red Rocks and Blue II w/ Umphrey's Mcgee and Easy Star All Stars 7/4 - Umphrey's Mcgee Boulder, CO

Yeah, Ive argued with him a few times. All his music biz, "insider" predictions have fallen thru & lots of people have been ragging on him about his phoney identity/headshot pic. Just your basic Troll who appointed himself festie mascot, before getting run out of town with his tail between his legs. It was temporary relief for the frustratingly slow info leak.
^^^ Tim was an epic troll, one of the greatest I've ever witnessed. So many noobs on FB had no clue. It's hard not to troll on the FB page because its just so easy. Spunion wompwomp kids get butthurt incredibly easily.
Oh yea, so there won't be Primus or Mars Volta at the festival. Les and Omar are playing a show at the Greek on 10/29/11......which will surely be epic! Saw Omar's group at the HOB Parish in NOLA......a mix of At the Drive In and Volta.....intense to say the least. Met Cedric outside, thanked him for Eriatarka =)
Steve Angello from Swedish House Mafia got added a while back. They haven't updated in a while.......they need to get on with this shit, fest is in less than two months!
