Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I've considered it. One of the guys in our group of yearly goers wants one too. We've decided we have to attend Bonnaroo for 5 years before we've "earned" the right for a Roo tat. We're on year 4!! :-)
I have two on my shoulder. I was originally intending to get one for every year I went, but I have been slacking because I figured I should just get them all done at once instead of one every year. This will be my sixth Bonnaroo so I have some making up to do. I have '06 and '07. I want to find a way to bring them all together though. Any ideas? Wish I had a pic to show what im workin with but, sadly, I do not. Draw somethin up and arrange a meet!
I want my first tattoo to be Roo related. Probably put it on my forearm if anything..
My buddy Roland Scherman shot the image of Dylan you are using as an avatar. It's copyrighted. Just ask him. He'll sell you some rights of use. jus' sayin'.
Gettin' a tattoo at Bonnaroo would be a fuckin' disaster. Yeah, it sounds like a cool idea. But with all the sun, extreme weather (be it hot or rainy), and everythin' else the odds are your tattoo would get fucked up somethin' fierce. It's a great place to show off your tats, but not at all a good place to get them.

I cannot, for the life of me, get the picture of my roo tattoo uploaded here. I'm not too slick with a computer. However, it is my profile picture on twitter @matthewriffee (not spamming, scout's honor) if you want to see it. If somebody could figure out how to post it on here, I have a coco for you. It's the 2008 blue and green rings on the back of my right shoulder, and if you see it at the farm this year feel free to claim your inforoo prize!?!

^^this. I don't have any tattoos myself (yet), but from what I gather, they require a lot of aftercare - keeping them out of the sun, not getting them too wet, applying tattoo goo, etc. Ignoring any of that could permanently damage your tattoo, which you definitely don't want to do to something you'll be wearing for the rest of your life. Plus I'm betting there's some sort of legal restrictions on getting a tattoo outside of an actual parlor too.

Wow, that LCD tattoo is amazing! I've always wanted to incorporate their disco ball into a tattoo, but I had no idea how to do it. Nice job! That is now one of my favorite tattoos I've ever seen. Ever. Points for you!

I'm hopin' to get mine (on the first page) touched up this summer/fall. And begin the plans to extend with that and my upper left arm tattoo into a full sleeve. Eventually.
And wow, you're like a walking, talking infomercial to turn people away from Pearl Jam and Ohio State, aren't you? Before you started posting here I quite liked Pearl Jam and was indifferent towards OSU, now I find myself wishing that Eddie Vedder falls down a mine shaft or that Columbus is infested with locusts
Someone said it wayy back don't feel like quoting. I am not one to get a tatoo, especially because to have it be permanent i would need it to be something that would mean something in my life. However, i am starting to think a Roo tatoo would be pretty sweet. I was thinking maybe like a soccer patch on my chest but with the Roo three rings. I'm pretty sure i'm eventually going to get it, however, i don't feel worthy yet considering last year was my first Roo. So i'm probably gonna hold off till i at least attend 5 bonnaroo's before i pull the trigger. Awesome ideas from everyone though, the LCD Soundsystem tat is awesome
I've been wanting a Roo tattoo since my very first year, in 07!!! I've gone the past 5 years in a row. I don't have a single one yet, and I'm 29, so it would be a big deal. I knew it was my first choice of tattoo. To me, Bonnaroo means so much more than a music festival. It is a symbol of living life to its fullest for me. My first year I went, a couple of weekends before the fest, I ended up in the hospital for a week, thought I was going to die. I got out, thank god and recovered for a week. That was TWO weeks with out work. My little brother bought his ticket months in advance, thinking I was going too. But the two weeks without work put me in a financial situation where there was NO WAY I could afford to go. But after the near death experience, I just felt I needed to go. What would I lose? I ended up hoping in a car with strangers I met on inforoo, without a ticket, money or even a tent. The guys who drove me found a ticket on the car ride for $50 (!!!!) on the way down, and I sold tee-shirts at the festival in order to buy food and pay the guy who bought my ticket back. I ended up putting out a huge fire in the camp ground that year. I believe to this day I was meant to be there
Bonnaroo has become a symbol of living life to its fullest. My life changed that weekend. I have gone back the past four years with my little brother. I hope to be able to go again this year (if I can magically find a dirt cheap ticket- super broke). We shall see. If the Bonnaroo Gods want me there, I'll be there.
Anyway, when I can afford a quality tattoo, the Roo symbol is it!!! Really can't wait!!!!! I want to get it on my inner wrist, so I can always remember how this festival changed me as a person, to always go with the flow, and trust the Universe to guide my way~~~~~~~
That was shortly after it was done some two years ago.
Needs some touchin' up now though.
love this tat! i just want the roo rings all colorful like that! i may just have to bring in a picture of this when i finally decide its the right time to get it
