not sold. maybe the other half of the lineup will do it.
Same. Other than M83 and Crystal Castles, I'm relatively uninterested. If they added the likes of Animal Collective, Trentemoller, Flying Lotus I could be persuaded but as of now, I will not be going to this and hoping for a solid Voodoo lineup.
God, imagine this lineup if you take out the Lips and add Portishead, or some other iconic electronic-ish band that I'm not thinking of (Basement Jaxx?). It'd be so much better. Still the bottom 2/3 of the lineup, though, are pretty amazing.
I wouldnt even go that far. How about Animal Collective instead of Passion Pit and call it a day?
-When I Hear My Name -Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground -Blue Orchid -Passive Manipulation -Red Rain -Death Letter -My Doorbell -Hotel Yorba -Same Boy You've Always Known -Lovesick -Little Ghost -We're Going to Be Friends -The Hardest Button to Button -Black Math -The Nurse -I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself
Encore: -Ball and Biscuit -Seven Nation Army -Screwdriver
Very true. I kinda like Passion Pit, though, and I'm not already seeing them twice this year. Let's take out the Lips for Animal Collective, THEN call it a day. That there's a lineup.

Yeah, solid lineup, but I'll defenitely need to wait a bit for those additions before I commit to traveling for it. A big name like AnCo would be awesome, but honestly, even just Cut Copy would probably get me there.
The top 5 on that lineup realllllllllllly make me want to go to this, but I doubt I could afford a hotel room and travel. Also, I will be flat broke after attending PJ20, so I don't know that I could save the money needed to have fun.
Those 3 names stood out to me so much, I failed to see M83 and Cluster, which are also must sees.
Also, Leftfield may be coming back to the states later on this year, so I'm hoping for an add... I was very disappointed to learn hardly anyone saw Leftfield at Coachella, very disappointed. They would be perfect for this.
What makes it even better, is I didn't even consider Tangerine Dream for this thing, but the other night I listened to Zeit, Phaedra, and Rubycon all in succession.

I kind of like that Flips will play pretty much wherever and will go out of their way to make it a special show, even if you have seen them a few times.
The more I look at it, the more there is I do want to see. I want to hold out for VooDoo's lineup, but im worried about the sell out potential for Moog.

I think they're playing with oversaturation, myself.
I totally agree, they've made a few truly classic albums, but as a live band... man. Plus, they are more all over the place than they were during their peak.

I get that they play a lot of fests, but they actually don't do that many shows all things considered. It's just because everyone on this message board is hyper aware of a bunch of music fests and that's where they seem to prefer playing.
