I agree, but at a festival like Moog, where my plans were to follow others, I didn’t feel much like wandering alone. If it were Roo, I’d have no problem frolicking on my own!

So I've been busy as shit all week and thus haven't had time to get on here, but I now have a few minutes to kill before class.
WOW! This weekend was one of the absolute best of my life! I didn't think it was possible to do, but it really topped last year! It was just a nonstop dance party!! Like literally, a dance party!
The one thing that I am pissed about was Saturday night, which was my own fault. All my friends were in another state except for one other friend (we just got drunk and babysat). To save money, we got a fifth of whiskey and kept it in the trunk of my car, which was parked between venues, and took a chug as we walked between shows. I guess I had to much to drink after our small vegan dinner (which was awesome) and I accidentally blacked out for a while. So pissed! I remember about half of Amon Tobin before things just vanished. I was apparently up close for all of St. Vincent, but don't remember any of it. I came to for the second half of Battles.
Anyway, here's my top 10, although it's hard to decide: 1 Beats Antique (I know I've bitched about missing them before, but it was so justifying to finally see them) 2 M83 (I've been waiting for years to see them!) 3 Special Disco Version (WAAAAYYYYY better than at Camp Bisco! So dancey!) 4 Amon Tobin (A lot smaller than I expected, but still awesome) 5 Tobacco (Pissed I had to miss Fine Peduncle, but I think it was probably worth it) 6 Emancipator (Not at all like the album, but still really cool. Plus I was center stage 2nd row) 7 Neon Indian (He's always a great show, but it was my 4th time seeing him and I was in the top deck munching on food, so this isn't really a slight to the show to be at 7) 8 Battles (Always an incredible show, but again it's my 4th time seeing them so I knew what to expect) 9 Crystal Castles (Also always fun!) 10 Gold Panda (Cool, but I only knew that one song) Last Place: The Flaming Lips (I'm coming on, Wayne! I can't come on any more!! We left to go see Amon Tobin when he got too preachy, which got us there for Amon Tobin about right in time)
Seriously pissed I don't remember St. Vincent. Strange mercy is one of my favorite albums of the past year and I have a huge crush on her! Gah!!
Also pissed that YACHT cancelled, and that we took too long to get our shit together and get there friday and saturday, so we missed Atlas Sound and the Naked and Famous. Oh well.
