I think they're getting pretty big. Lot of SXSW buzz, Fallon appearance, repeat trips to Europe already. But I am a big fan & live a couple hours away from Minneapolis so I'm also biased.

I'm loving this undercard. The ordering is a little f'd up. I never really expected to have a chnace to see Willis Earl Beal live. I'm always a fan of a lineup that includes one of my all time favorites, Steve Earle. I wonder if that's a Dukes show. Iggy & The Stooges and Father John Misty! I'm sold.

Got my ticket today. The Jack White vs Neil Young conflict is quite possibly the worst conflict ever. There is a chance I might not go, but am playing it by ear depending on school and what Funfunfunfest has to offer and how much vacation I have. Red Rocks in August will be like a mini festival for the year as it is.
Love this freakin festival. Lineup is always solid. I was born and raised in Austin. Used to go to ACl tapings as a teenager in the 90's. I have been every year except the first 2(but I listened from outside the park). This year I am lucky enough to live 3/4 miles from the festival. KHARMA!!!

also an Austin native...lineup is better this year than in recent years IMO...but it is a major fail putting Jack White up against NY & CH. Not much rap at all on that initial lineup.
Love ACL, but C3 mailed it in this year IMO. Have friends who work for them and I have dealt with C3 through jobs in the past...they need to step their game up for ACL. Time for them to turn ACL into an alternative to Lolla, and not an extension of it.

LOL...you might be correct. I've seen Jack White in numerous times...in some form or another. Never as the white stripes, sadly. I'm still going to have to lean JW, and catch the last 30 minutes of neil from a distance.
For some reason I had it in my head that Heartless Bastards would be on the lineup. That is the only disappointment for me.

One of my friends wants to go now so I will be needing an extra 3-day pass if anyone knows of any. Hoping I can find one for $250 range. Not gonna worry about it until tickets ship most likely unless I come across one.

Yep, I'm in the same boat. I think there's a good chance that tickets in that range will be available in August-October. For now, I'm just not going to worry about it. I'm guessing there's a little price inflation right now based on lineup buzz, etc.

wait until the week or 2 before and you'll easily find them. It's Tx/OU weekend in football and once idiots realize this many will bail on their tickets. ACL still does print pass(as of last year at least) so scammers make hundreds(if not thousands) printing and selling multiple print passes online that screw people, so make sure that you buy a hard ticket if you do by it 3rd party.
There will definitely be some great after shows. Hopefully Thievery and/or The Roots play a gig at Stubbs that weekend as both put on fantastic night shows.

I've never seen Thievery outside of here in DC - aftershow in Austin would be awesome. Anything with the Roots that weekend will also be attended by me.
I tried to get a hotel that was central to all the likely aftershows. And walkable.

Definitely missed buying tickets but going to try to score some as it gets closer. I live in Dallas, so if anyone in the area wants to carpool, I'm down. Would love to meet some of you guys at the festival as well and party like only Inforoosters know how to!!

Let the debauchery ensue! I've never met any Inforoosters... I think that needs to change.
awesome you guys! this will be my eighth year to go to ACL and there are usually less than 2 or 3 that post on here that go every year. it is good to have some new people that will be there.

Or I guess it's probably a little early to worry about that. I just got all excited for ACL!! But if anyone wants to share rides or whatever I'm open to trying to figure something out!
