I don't think Canton-bound is supposed to refer us to a place.
More likely, it's supposed to get us either a name or an object - "brady" "hall" "football", etc. it's not going to be so simple as to be someone who is playing in a Canton in the near future.
"Good or evil?" seems to be ambiguous. What's something that can be either, depending on the situation? Anti-heroes? Or maybe something that's neither good nor evil? This phrase is the toughest nut to crack, I think.
"ascension linked to versions of the Sabbath"... I like the logic of someone who is known for a cover of a Sabbath song, but I'm also of the opinion that this part of the clue is likely our confirming clause - that is to say that we know we have it when we get this part right.

Black Label Society covered a black sabbath song last year on the album "The Song Remains the Same", Zakk Wylde has become successful thanks to Ozzy's help. Zakk Wylde has a solo album called Book of Shadows, and the first track is "Between Heaven and Hell" I don't know how Canton-bound has anything to do with it though.

Holy crap, Duddits. That is amazing whether it's right or not. Also, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros would be awesome since I missed them the last time they were at Roo.

A quick search for bands of Canton Ohio fielded a couple interesting results. Marilyn Manson was born in Canton Ohio. It is also the place where the bands (christian) Reliant K and (indie) Lovedrug were formed.
There is your good and evil a christian band and then the bad there is Marilyn Manson!

marilyn manson could make sense. im not a big fan but u have the contreversy certainly many people think hes evil. hes from canton and has had great success and influence on the industry (arguabbly enough to make the rnr hof). this doesnt really work with the ascending and sabbath thing which I acknowledge but it is possible that those can apply to anyone if it means something like they will be playing saturday or sunday

i will say that i will be pumped if its edward sharpe. black keys would be better but its unrealistic that they would put that out there first. i would think they could headline by now

canton = as i NY (or Contra)?????? how is this at all related?
Another thing to consider the Internal conflict between Good and Evil is said to be fought by one's Conscience or if you want to go Freudian Ego and ID .
