Oh man, I am going to be totally broke this year.....
I was thinking of you when I saw this actually. I'm curious to see what it holds.
Well my hubby's family is in NJ so we could visit the family at the same time..... and maybe he can call his buddies on the tour and at least get us in for free......

I doubt I'll be able to go, but I am very interested in what bands end up on the bill. I hope they don't give Lars full reign over the bill, or else we'll probably get this:

I hate to double post, but here's the non-Metallica lineup via Brooklyn Vegan:
Arctic Monkeys • Avenged Sevenfold Modest Mouse • The Gaslight Anthem Cage The Elephant • Fucked Up • Best Coast Hot Snakes • Titus Andronicus Gary Clark Jr. • Lucero • Roky Erickson The Black Angels • The Sword A Place to Bury Strangers • Liturgy + more TBA
"There will be a MET Club Ticket Presale on Feb 8 at 10am with a special MET Club presale price of $125 for two days. Public sale begins Feb 11 at 10am. Early bird tickets will be $150 for two days, or $175 if you wait to buy them."
$150 for 2 days? How many people can we cram in a hotel room?
Wow. Titus Andronicus, Liturgy, Lucero, Fuckedd Up, The Sword, Hot Snakes Black Angels... that's some good shitt right there. Would never have guessed it.
That is some kind of impressive undercard Metallica drew. Now, to start working on winning the lottery. ...
I noticed this on the website: If you had a chance to watch the live webcast, you know now that our location will be Bader Field in the heart of Atlantic City, New Jersey on the East Coast on June 23 and 24, 2012. We've joined forces with our friends at C3, who bring you Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits each year here in the U.S. as well as presenting Big Day Out to our Australian friends.
theyve added ride the lightning now "Headlining both nights, Metallica will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 'Black Album' by playing it in its entirety on one night AND all of 'Ride the Lightning' for the first time ever on the other night!"

Makes sense now.
It does: Those are some heavy hitters. I really wish this wasn't so close to 'roo - and I lived closer to AC.
So I'm still taking this line up in, Metallica, Modest Mouse, The Gaslight Anthem, Cage the Elephant, Hot Snakes, Titus Andronicus, Gary Clark Jr., The Black Angles, A Place to Bury Strangers, holy poop.
