Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Just simple Twitter and Facebook promotions for those outside the poster route radius like myself. Really easy. Like retweet the Bonnaroo presale announcement for 200 points. Then submit a screenshot of your post for proof.
Be sure to check other AC Events like Forecastle and Moog so you can accumulate points faster.

Question about poster routes...I'm in Nashville so I'm sure they'll be plenty, but where do we go to look those up? I scowered the Fancorps website and forums and couldn't figure it out. Maybe I'm having a blonde moment...
The poster routes are in the "Rewards" section where you would use your points to buy things. The routes obviously dont cost any points, but its how they limit the number.
Wait what? I can get a free ticket doing this? I need details.
How hard is it to earn points? What specifically has to be done?
You get points (about 200-400) for reposting fbook updates, posting pictures on your fbook, inviting friends to shows and retweeting. The other stuff like handbilling/poster runs are worth more points.
For example at Counterpoint I handed out about 200 handbills in person or put on cars. I hung about 20ish posters on my way and at Counterpoint and I earned 1000 points for about 1 hour of work. I believe Bonnaroo tickets are 16000. My 1 day pass to forecastle was 6000 pts. For a ticket to a show here in Knoxville it's about 2-2.5k points. So it's really a great deal.
Yeah last year the tickets to 'Roo were 16000 points and in 2011 they were 15000. So I would think it's possible the points necessary may increase again this year.
I have to admit I'm a little giddy over probably being able to go to one fest for free and then drop the 280/300 for Roo that I usually expect. 6000 pts seems manageable

Abra, I'm listening to Outta My System and your gif is dancing perfectly to it.
Everyone must try this
Ok, they dance to everything. Touch Me just came on.

Personally I went from MMJ "Aluminum Park" -> Devil Makes Three

It's more likely 16000 or 17000 points. The good news is that if you don't use all your points or you don't get enough one year they roll over and over. On your profile page there is a setting to be notified of new orders. Make sure you check that and all new orders will be e-mailed to you.
As for poster runs the areas around Nashville go fast but lots of the other ones sit for ages. If you really need points make a plan to visit a fellow Inforooster and do a run or two there.
Maybe it's AM boredom, but I realized if you add photos from the AC/Superfly festivals you are awarded 5 points (each)
5 whole points? Well shiz, excuse me if I overload everyone's dashboard. It could get a bit obnoxious.
It takes awhile - but actually they bundle your added photos so as to not drown out the dashboard. I've added about 2000 points worth of just pictures today... mind you I'm a relentless picture taker at Roo so it was totally up my alley
It was super weird to see all the pictures of my ex though... but still worth it

Bandeta - Make sure those are store credit points and not simply "activity" points. For the life of me I can't find the listing about which category posting intel, etc falls into but I'm really afraid it's not store credit. It will make your rank go up faster though....
It pains me to see you guys joining this and adding more competition to the poster routes. But you guys are awesome too so it's kind of a trade off. I became a Lieutenant General in 5 months last year. It's super easy if you just check it everyday. Also, get on Evvan's(Community Manager) good side. Last year I told him I was trying to send my buddy to Bonnaroo with me and he mailed me a 8,000 point run the next day just because I asked. I also got upgraded to VIP last year and he put me on the guest list with a +1 to go to the sold out M83 show at Marathon Music Works. Had to handbill it but it was also one of the best shows of my life. I pestered him about adding Nashville venues until he finally did too. Got me and +1 to Citizen Cope and going to Coheed Tuesday for free. Single guys, it looks really good if you take a lady to a show and you're on the guest list. You don't have to tell them how you did it. I'm sure it is a lot harder for you out of area folks to get points but just as a point of reference I joined in February of last year currently have 10,900 credits and have spent 32,000 on Bonnaroo and 8,000 more on shows. It's not that hard if your in an area that they bring shows to throughout the year. And please please please if you get a poster route DO IT and DO ALL OF IT. They spend a lot of time and money doing this. I know we are helping them but it cost them $10.00 to ship me posters from Knoxville to Murfreesboro and although I'm sure they have a deep discount with their printing company it costs a lot of money to print these things too. If they send out these routes and they don't get done they will cut their loses and leave all the hard workers out to dry. Any locals ever need help postering in the Murfreesboro area just hit me up. I got the bulletin boards on campus down pat at this point.
New handbilling routes if you're going to any major NYE shows. Worth 2,000 points. Signed up for Panic's show in Charlotte. So if you see me there, say "Hi!"
They've added a few new orders recently guys. Also, some of you may be interested to know that tickets for the Animal Collective show in Nashville are posted in the rewards section now. I picked up one, so only 3 left at 2000 pts. a pop.
