Totally forgot the routes goin' up today, but I was wicked busy at the bar and didn't have time fer it anyway. Now I've checked it out in the Rewards section but it looks like there was only one route per city this time?
I logged on right at 3pm and dealt with the slow website. Got the Richmond and DC runs in my cart and checked out. Server went down within 2 mins of me checking out so I JUST made it. Crazy that they crashed their own site. I would think they would roll them out in time zones to help out. Crazy that happened. Hopefully knock my runs out and guarantee my ticket. Im sitting at almost 7000 points as it is now. Sorry to hear some people got dicked out of their runs

Of course my computer completely dies the day poster runs go up! Just have to wait for another NYC run I guess. And Forecastle. I already have enough for one tickets, just trying for #2 now. Doubt I'll have much of a shot though
I totally forgot about this until about 7pm yesterday. I checked the site and all runs were gone, but found it interesting that there was only 1 run per city this year. Haven't we always had 2 per city, per run, in the past?
Where are you all getting that there is only one run per city? The only thing I saw when I looked was that was a max of 1 which refers to how many you can buy which I thought had happened in years past to make sure that one person didn't grab both runs for a city.
Also, I feel like it's a good time to remind people that Fancorps is not an AC product. It's a service that they pay for every month, and from my experience, they hate it every bit as much as we do like last year when I was helping pack posters and the AC employee spent half an hour trying to get the list of addresses but couldn't because it was so slow. Unfortunately, there's not really a competing product that they have found that meets all their needs, so they are stuck with it.

pretty sure it was 1 max per person, not 1 run total for the city.

All college runs will become available in the Supplies section of the Rewards store this Wednesday, February 3 at approximately 12PM EST.
By ordering a poster supply pack, you are signing up to complete a poster run for the college/university you select. One person can sign up for up to (2) college runs, but cannot sign up for multiple slots in the same college/university.
College runs will be on a first come, first serve basis in terms of ordering, which is why I am designating a time that is least likely to conflict with work schedules and giving you a heads up. The Poster Packs do not cost you any points, it is just a way for us to keep track of who gets what.
The college runs that will be available are based on past ticket sales and trends. If you would like to poster at a university/college that is not listed, you can request it in the Bonnaroo forum thread titled "Bonnaroo 2016 College Poster Run #1" After primary focus routes are filled, we will consider additional colleges/universities request based on remaining supplies.
Each poster pack includes:
-100 posters
Required proof will include:
- 25 photos, representative of the posters hung
- 1 written text, containing a list of ALL 100 locations and/or areas postered
Additional notes:
-Completed routes will receive 8,000 activity points and store credits
-All proof must be uploaded by Wednesday, March 2 by EOD
-Please make sure to include your current address when signing up for a postering route. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS INFORMATION!
-Supply purchases must be input by 6pm on Friday, February 5 to be eligible for this run. However, please get your purchases in ASAP to ensure you have the most time possible to complete your route.
-The majority of orders and shipments will be sent out on Monday, February 8 and Tuesday, February 9 with the rest being fulfilled as orders come in the rest of the week.
Head over to the Bonnaroo forum to see which colleges will be included in this year's run (pages-->forums-->Bonnaroo)! If you have any additional questions, please list them in the forum and we will do our best to answer them.
I'm hoping to pick up a run or two in Indiana. They never seem to have Chicago area schools and the regular city runs keep becoming more difficult to come across.
For people who have done these runs. Have you actually placed all 100 posters? I made an initial list of places to post them and I have like 40 places. Any tips from veterans?
Yayyyy I got a college run in DC, not too far from Baltimore so I'm pleased
Awesome!! I tried to get a run for my fiance but was in checkout when someone else sniped it. I have a DC run myself. Care to meet up in DC and canvas together?

Too bad you couldn't grab another, i was tempted to grab the penn state one but i didnt feel like driving so far for it haha.
Hell yeah man that sounds like a plan. Once we get the posters shipped we can set a day to do it, would the weekend work for you?

Just depends on my work schedule. I can always attempt to shuffle a day here or there to make it work! Would be great to network and also meet a fellow Inoroo'er

Coffee shops, record stores, comic book shops, book stores, community bulletin boards, libraries, etc
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I also poster in a local grocery store, a BBQ place and a nicer thrift store. I have found that hitting up non-chain stuff can be successful because of the lack of corporate rules on what can be put up within the business.
So the colleges are cool with strangers hanging up a bunch of posters?
Yeah, at anything but really small colleges there are generally so dang many people milling about that no one will even notice you. Of course you don't want to post them in classrooms or anywhere weird or sneak in anywhere that's locked, but if you put them on bulletin boards or where you see other posters and anything non-academic you'll be fine. Most campuses are open enough that you don't need permission just to be there.
The worst that could happen is they'd be offended and ask you to leave, or put some pants on, in which case you should. Unless the judge said that you in particular can't visit campuses anymore then, then you probably have bigger problems.
