they did say early on if they sold a good deal of tickets they would use some of that money too bring in a few more bands.....i just hope they are actually bands that excite the public instead of no names. but that also explains them not releasing a schedule yet
how do the stages work? Does the main stage pretty much stay with the top 4 or 5 bands of each day or are they grouped by genre? I was really hoping Pearl Jam and Gaslight Anthem would be on the same stage

We'll find that out when the schedule does, but ,using Friday as a example, we're probably gonna see PJ on the main stage, with Yoakam headling the other beach stage. BFF probably will be PJ's main support. The two beach stages will alternate, when one act goes off, the next one starts on the other stage.
The festival has already hinted that Band of Horses is Foo Fighters' direct support, so we're probably looking at Jimmy Cliff as the 2nd beach stage headliner.
Look for Diplo and DJ Jazzy Jeff as late night sets on the 2nd beach stage.
One of my friends has seen the current time schedule. He said that Gaslight Anthem and Band of Skulls conflict, Foo Fighters and Bad Brains conflict, and Pearl Jam,Trampled By Turtles, and 12th Planet all conflict. But he did say that he had heard that some of the bands wanted to change days, so nothing is final yet.

No one knows. It was said on the local news there was supposed to be an announcement today regarding DeLuna, but as of 9 PM local time, nothing. We're thinking the schedule.
yeah not really sure what else it could be, couldn't see any major act announcements a month before the festival. I'm quite ready for the schedule though

Local news station did a story on a local band that was added.... The Hooks? The Real Hooks? Something like that. Apparently they have a song that's on some Billboard chart. Family band, all siblings.
The biggest conflicts for me are: Band of Skulls or The Gaslight Anthem? Guided By Voices or Trampled by Turtles? Jimmy Cliff or OFF!? I will probably split those sets. How far of a walk is the DeLuna stage from the Beach Ball stage?
I will be at WindCreek Stage most of the day sunday with a detour to see Fitz and the Tantrums. Then I'll probably watch a couple of Florence songs and end the night with Rebirth before heading home. Unless I just feel like shit by sunday, I might bail after Bob Mould or Superchunk.

The main stage and the beach ball stage run parallel to each other, so it probably will be maybe a 5 minute walk. High on Fire and The Parlotones both cancelled. Saints of Valory were added; they were one of the really popular acts from last year. The two additional stages are unexpected, but maybe they will be signs for the future expansion of this festival. I wonder where they'll be placed.
Longinus- The stages are probably a little closer together than the two Hangout stages.
However, unless they changed the beach access this year, you can walk down the shore to get from stage to stage. I highly recommend doing this, as it is awesome, tons of sea life in the water right there, and you won't wear yourself out.
