I'll throw my name into the "Making tu's for unchained" pool as well. It was way easier than I thought and I'm not leaving til Thursday, so i'll have time.
I couldn't get off work in time to make it to the post office today! Of all the days I have to stay late, why did it have to be today? I'm walking/running to the post office in the morning when I haul my sleepy rear out of bed.

This may have already been discussed but I didn't see it. I know everyone is wearing their RooTus to brunch but are y'all wearing them the rest of the day? If not, what are you doing with it after brunch? I don't want to have to carry it around all day.

Depending on if you want to wear it again... you could always gift it to a stranger that loves it.

I'm probably not going to, but do play on wearing for late night. I am day parking so we are planning on walking back to the car after brunch and changing.
Ok, throwing together some last minute dudetus. How much shorter than their waist measurement should I make the elastic?
Mayo is probably still making TU's!
I only PM'd with a few men - and they each said -- please make the waist band comfy (aka not tight). Since i Did not know sizes of where the QSAROO Tu's were going, I safety pinned them all closed so folks could adjust them.
No matter how i try, I still end up stretching the elastic 1-2 additional inches putting the tulle on. (The first one was like 8 inches - but i got better with the swamp yankee foot method )

I got my 'Tu on Thursday and it is beautiful! My bodacious rear makes the coverage a little less than is ideal for me if I'm also trying to maximize the beautiful poof of the Tu, so I made a quick stop for fabric earlier and will be adding some strips tonight.

If we find out where "THE WALMART" is.... we will be there wed late afternoon.
I'm bringing my cutting board and quilt cutter so if anyone needs a trim for their Tu's, the tools will be there. If all goes well we will be in relatively early thurs and can bring to TO if needed. Making Hair tu's on the ride to keep busy. THANKS MAYO :-*for the how .. haha.. Tu's.!!!
I'm a smoker that really really needs not to be... when I am tu'ing... nada. Busy hands are smokeless hands. I see a lot of tu time after Roo.

You are CORRECT MADAM!!! I am still making Tus I even took tulle with me to a certain wedding this weekend and just CUT it so I'd have at least one step done when I got home to finish them. ;D
Madeline - what Fawn said - go with about one inch shorter than what you want the Tu to be. It does inevitably stretch, and even this Master can not prevent that. I just had to take in one for someone the same size as I am - I tried it on and it was looooooose. Had to take in like 2 inches. But if you want to be safe - Safety pins are the way to go.

Okay, is anybody a fan of Unchained, the Worlds' Greatest Van Halen tribute Band? If you did not know they are playing Late Night (Sat) in That Tent. I do not want to hear about the WTFs? Some of us are going to check them out. On Facebook, we have been trying to get them to wear Rootus, almost got them to come to Brunch, but they do not get to Roo until later. It's a little late- but I got my 'Tu on Thursday! and I love it! My mom was like "Kara- someone sent you an empty box!" Since it was so light, and when I opened it, *POOF* it came out like a caged animal! Thanks so much Fawn!! It's PERFECT
