I'm making the trip and camping by my gotdamn self. Heading out in the morning and driving back sunday. I know a few people going, but I think they are already there and are saying longer so I am shit out of luck for finding someone to split the gas with unless I find someone at the deerhoof show tonight. >.< PM me before the morning with phone number and I'll shoot you a PM with mine before I leave in the morning if anyone wants to meet up. Anyone know if there is a place to charge cell phones anywhere at SOSMP? If not, my phone may be useless by friday. I miss the days of cell phones holding a charge for like a week.

I didn't think about charging phones, is there anywhere there to do that? I have the phone numbers that were pmed, I'll check inforoo in the morning and see if anyone else wants to meet up. Text y'all when the sfa/popsarah/zen/abra train arrives.
I haven't had the chance to be on much the past week or two but am looking very much forward to my first BC. I hope that I get to meet all of you fine Inforoosters that I don't already know. You have a hug coming from me, maybe even a snuggle.
I have a power inverter thingy for the truck that we can plug stuff into, including phones. And, I'm bringing jumper cables in case it runs my battery out.

Last year at bear creek I had no issue charging my phone. You'll find the steady stream of cosmic energy emanating off the intergalactic funk highway keeps your mind, body, and phone completely charged.
Epic fail. Over half way here, I realised that I forgot my sleeping bag and pillow. Just hit up a wal mart. 2 hours away. Got in touch with my friend and he's saving me a camping spot by the lake. "Prime real estate" he says. Haha. Thanks for the outlet info, laggy.
Camping spot by a lake?! Take lots of pics! I need more info about this fest for 2013...
The lake f'n rules.
I camped there for Wanee this year and for Bear Creek in '10 & '11. It's a little colder there because of the water but it's the best view ever, and you can hear music from camp clear as day.
The best best part is that it is a 2minute walk to camp from the Shroom Stage so you can run back to chug beers in between bands, or do whatever you need to do. As a guy, it is epic because I can piss in the lake instead of wandering to a portopotty. The girls that set up camp for Wanee this year built a bathroom for the ladies as well.
The only downside of the lake is that there seems to be a higher concertration of wandering LEOS in that area.
