According to Weatherspark.com, last year's Bear Creek just happened to be a really cold weekend...particularly saturday night it got down to 26 F, and that is really fawkin' cold for Alabama White Boizzz. It is highly unlikely that it will be that cold this year, considering it didn't get nowhere near that cold again there until January...it might get into the high 30s for a couple of hours in the early morning. I'd much rather be camping in November when it's in the 40s outside than in the summer when it's >80F. At least you can bundle up in the cold, there's nothing I can do in the heat except be miserable. March, April, and October are the perfect camping months, imo.
Bear Creek 2010 was cold as witch nipples on Xmas as well...
You can bundle up all you want but it is gonna be extremely cold.
Totally, I thought 2010 was colder at points then 2011 even. Last year's winter was very mild also just like this year's, I still think it's gonna be freezin' this year in mid-nov...

For an extra $125, this seems like a good deal. I wonder how much the drink discount is though...for voodoo it was like $1 off or some bullmess like that.

How's the disc golf course? Anybody else play?
I think it's like $2 off, but the beer price is only $4 as is, for usually pretty good beer... The disc golf course is pretty sweet, it's all woods and right there by everything else. Zach Deputy usually holds a tournament out there the pre-pre party day I believe.
Two and a half days is the most vacation I can sacrifice for this...hopefully I'll have that much left by then. so I'd end up leaving work at noon on thursday and arrive at SOSMP around 6-7pm.
Nothing worth staying for sunday? That's great news if the majority of the music is friday and saturday. I could probably get away with only taking off friday if that was the case.

Sunday is the denouement to Saturday's climax. Lot of repeat bands, good stuff, but if you gotta leave Sunday you'll still be getting your money's worth.

Sunday is just more wild ass jams/collaborations. To be honest, unless you are hardcore into camping festivals or are fairly wook'd out, two days of Bear Creek is more than enough for most people.
Last year was so amazing.........Trey on the Mushroom stage FTW

I love Sundays @ Bear Creek! It's definitely the chill/wind down day. Lettuce and Dumpsta will normally play Sunday evening, pretty much closing things out... and I love some Lettuce.
I am so excited for Bear Creek! Being at Roo and seeing Charles Bradley and making Jelly fishes is making BC to be one hell of a party! What does Charles and Jelly Fishes have in common? Besides Bear Creek, a lot of things, but they both will be at Bear Creek and I can not wait. And so will Dumpstaphunk! March Fourth Marching Band, who I am inviting to march from the Short-Cut to the stage, before their show. I am just posting to get some of that post Roo excitement out of me. ;D and, ideas I have for the under water short cut, involves a lot of work for one person, so I am going to have a decorate the trail day. Would be on that Thursday, or even Wednesday if enough people get there then, but early sometime on Thursday would probably be best, will wait until the schedule comes out for the best time. It will be pretty funkin' magical!
