I just read about it on facebook. It seems they did a Lollapalooza type thing where they made everyone leave the venue due to lightning storms. People just went back to their cars. They didn't have to pack up or anything.
there was a small line of storms that moved through. On the northside of Atlanta where I live we got some light rain. From the replay of the radar feed it seemed to be a little more heavy duty on the south side. Now it's clear/partly/at times mostly cloudy and perfect temperature. A great weekend to be at a music festival...if you're there. Which I'm not. But a great weekend to be at home and blissfully alone with the animals.
MOAR OUCH: CounterPoint Music Festival IS BACK ON! Sets for Theophilus London, Lance Herbstrong and Street Lurkin were cancelled. All additional performances will continue as originally scheduled.
M83's performance has been canceled due to an equipment malfunction caused by the storm. Theophilus London will fill the slot at 7:30PM on The Point Stage.

they didnt tell us in the fest why m83 cancelled, there was definitely some hostility in the air...good to know it wasnt their fault..great day friday, hopefully the rain holds out today, 30% chance
