Really wish someone somewhere would up a full set of Hot Chip though. I've got Vampire Weekend, Blur, James Blake, Wu, HTDA, Shouting Matches, Alt-J, Grizzly Bear, Spiritualized, Cloud Nothings, Postal Service, Nick Cave, Modest Mouse. Really only need Hot Chip and Sigur Ros.
I've got a stream of Hot Chip's show that I captured myself if you're interested. Unfortunately it was my first time capturing streams like this, so the file is pretty large for what it is, 3.96 GB. I didn't know the best settings to use on the capture program, so I just put them all to the highest. I recorded the stream in 720p, but my desktop didn't have the GPU/CPU power to capture the stream full screen. However, I still feel it looks fairly nice when maximized to full screen after the fact, doesn't take too much away from the experience at all.
Didn't really want to upload it to Dime since it's not the same quality as everything that's up there though. Is there a good free tracker that you recommend, and I'll just put it up there for you to download? I see there's PublicBitTorrent, but never used them before. If a little bit of time goes by, and no other version pops up on torrenting sites, I might just put it up Dime so people at least have an option.
Oh, and unfortunately Sigur Ros wasn't streamed, so you'll just find audience recordings of that show. Was really hoping they'd stream it at the last second.

Edit: Also have Foals if you're interested.
Use MPEGStreamclip and you can adjust the different size parameters of the captured video and get that file size much much lower.

Hmm, can't seem to get that program to work. I uninstalled my Apple version of Quicktime and installed the Quicktime Alternate version they recommended. The program will run, and allow me to open the file. But after that, it's just a black bar and I can't do anything with the file, but it will relay some of info from the file to me. Idk, might try messing with it later, but not really feeling motivated for it right now.

Once you open it in MPEG, does it allow you to get to the File tab? If the file is too big for your GPU it might just be having issues playing it natively. Try opening it, going to the File Tab and just exporting it as a QuickTime (or any of the other export options). You are trying to either reduce the quality or limit data rate. I use limit data rate at around 30Mbps (and it will tell you exactly the size it'll come out to next it).

If that doesn't work -- not sure what's up.
Hmm, when I open the file in the program, I can still access the File tab and choose to export it. However, when I start the export, it only seems to do the audio. Granted, I only let it encode ~15 seconds, but the file it did make had only audio, no video. Tried this exporting to Quicktime, AVI, and MPEG. Not really sure what's up with it. Might take another look at it later today, but if Juggs really wants the Hot Chip set, it might be best he just gets the 4 gigs and then does what he wants with it. I do appreciate the help though.

Holy sheeeeeez. Just got home. What an amazing weekend. Crowd was excellent! Literally had a good spot for every single show. I think a big part of that was due to lower attendance for Weekend 2. I will choose Weekend 2 over Weekend 1 any year from now on. Less crowded, more time to ponder the schedule, more chill crowd. The entire weekend screamed good vibes. I saw so many NEW bands, with a little extra side of some of my old favorites. Even stepped out of my comfort zone for a bit and I was not disappointed. Something strange happened to me during The xx. This was definitely a fest for the books.
My whereabouts for the weekend, with favorite sets in bold:
Friday Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra The Shouting Matches Jake Bugg Johnny Marr Japandroids Of Monsters and Men Jello Biafra Yeah Yeah Yeahs Grinderman
Saturday The Wombats Trash Talk Vintage Trouble Dropkick Murphys Puscifer Portugal the Man Hot Chip The Postal Service The xx Phoenix
Sunday Hanni El Khatib JEFF the Brotherhood Kurt Vile and the Violators Dinosaur Jr. Social Distortion Vampire Weekend Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Red Hot Chili Peppers
I will never go on weekend 2 again. The dust was awful. Thankfully I was prepared for it after reading the complaints in this thread about Sunday of weekend 1. Outside of that it was a ball. We wound up making pretty good time in, but still missed the first half of Lord Huron after throwing camp together and making a run for the stages. Also will be bringing a lock for my tent next year, as I had my tent rifled through. Thankfully they only took some breakfast bars and gatorade mix.
Here was my weekend with a la garden's format.
Friday: Lord Huron Shouting Matches Policia Divine Fits Four Tet Local Natives Yeah Yeah Yeahs Grinderman HtDA
Saturday: Guards Theophilus London Savages The 2 Bears Grizzly Bear Simian Mobile Disco Janelle Monae Sigur Ros
Sunday: Buying Jugg's shirt Cloud Nothings DIIV Jessie Ware Tanlines James Blake Vampire Weekend Nick Cave Dub Fx Disclosure
Positives: Music was incredible. The focus seemed to be music instead of atmosphere, which was a nice change. Camping neighbor got hit by one of Action Bronson's gifts to the audience and shared. Cons: Rushing in and out. Having my camp burgled. Black lung.
I'll be back next year, but for weekend 1 and I'll plan it more than 3 days in advance.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live ran this rather remarkable segment in which, as the show explained it, people walking into Coachella were asked about bands that do not, in fact, exist. Nevertheless, these particular folks had strong opinions about the great "energy" of The Chelsea Clintons, and the album DJ Cornmeal, which one guy claims he used to play all the time at his community radio show."
Before I get into this, here are my festival credits:
Bonnaroo '07 '08 '09 '10 '11 '12 All Good '07 Hopscotch '10 '11 '12 Moogfest '10 '11 Forecastle '12
Coachella puts all of my past festival experiences to shame. The scenery is beautiful, the grounds are super clean, and the whole festival is very well organized. One of the few flawless concert experiences I've had; let alone one which lasted a whole weekend.
Top 10 Sets
1) Blur 2) Tame Impala 3) The Faint 4) Spiritualized 5) Janelle Monae 6) DIIV 7) Savages 8) Violent Femmes 9) Thee Oh Sees 10) New Order
i just hope you guys realize this is a joke put together by a television show and not meant to be taken literally. or it is, and that's the joke. whatever it is, jimmy kimmel sucks and is not funny.

i know quite a few people elsewhere were under the assumption it was real. forgive me for my assumption of inforoo being more naive than the average MB.
