Really bummed about missing this. Had I known Pretty Lights was going to play until sunrise, might have gone seen some AC first, but after XX (one of the highlights of my weekend) it was just too damn tempting to stay in my spot for PL.
I'm a big, tall dude, not very coordinated and get anxiety about unpleasant confrontations - people sitting down on the ground at night on blankets and whatnot scare the shiz out of me, because I fear I'll step on them and have a lot of people pissed off at me. Trying to navigate the grounds when there's no light is one of the worst parts of Roo for me personally.
Get one of these and hook it on your belt/camelback/backpack. Makes it 10x to navigate through crowds and people on the ground. Also get one with a blue/green lights, they are darker and don't piss people off like the white lights. Bud light or someone was giving them out at roo one year and it became part of my gear.
What really got me was the fact that I looked around and everyone was dancing at a different tempo but every single person was still in beat with the music.
This is exactly why that performance was my favorite LN of the weekend. That live version of Brother Sport is so great!

Does anyone know of a way to listen to these tracks outside of Spotify? I can't use Spotify any longer unless I upgrade to premium (which I don't want to do just to listen to 4 songs). I can't seem to find them anywhere else online.

i managed to totally black out on the walk from pretty lights to this set i think… or the other way around? either way i know i was there, but i have no idea what happened.

The same basically happened to me, but the other way around. On my way to Pretty Lights after Anco I don't remember a thing until my walk back to camp.

I know I'm late to the post but download audacity and have that recording in the background while you stream the songs on spotify, that's how I listen to those tracks on my mp3 player. And OP please deliver on the bootleg torrent! I've searched all over the interwebs to find a recording would love to hear those songs and relive that night.
