That jonny greenwood post is just because of steven reich. Thatjonnygreenwoodpostisjustbecauseofstevenreich. Thatjonnygrnwdpst... <hyperventilating into paper bag>
Totally. He has been performing it without Greenwood. I really think its an Music for 18 Musicians show or a 9/11 WTC show.
I also stated studying past schedules and venues. It's becoming a lot more real. I know we had said it was $100 in the past ( and were right, sort of). They offered two different passes. The cheap one included all the venues but the Tennessee and Bijou Theaters. Those were $250 to get into for all of them.

I actually ended up making a judgement call and skipped him at Hopscotch. Seeing Tom Carter earlier in the day reminded me I needed to be at Charalambides. That Saturday was the worst for me. He would be a "must-see".

The Capp Dogg is giving you a second chance, don't f*ck it up.
It was the new record, Shifty Adventures in Nookie Wood. Had it been Fear or Paris 1919, that would have been the must see. He also over lapped with Sleep. That Saturday was just brutal.

That does sound brutal. I've never seen Cale before, but I'd kill for the chance! I saw Lou Reed at Lolla 09 and was pretty much the only person there for him. Most people were staking out spots for The Killers. Meanwhile I was going apeshit on the front row. I'm really hoping that Capps pulls through with Cale for Big Ears! I really think this lineup is gonna be breathtaking
That does sound brutal. I've never seen Cale before...
Saw John Cale and Chris Spedding together many years ago in a hole-in-the-wall in D.C. Very laid back and resplendent affair. A friend said he saw Lou Reed come in and sit in the back, but I didn't see him.
I almost forgot. This was included in one of the facebook comments. I will wait here while GL's head explodes at the possibilities.

FUUUUUUUUUU. So that Greenwood thing may have been a tease.
EDIT: I just woke up from an old man nap where Terry Riley and John Cale played Church of Anthrax in its entirety. Cale went on to pay homage to Lou Reed by covering Metal Machine Music in full (w/ guests).

^^^At first I was going to tease you for being such a ridiculous music geek, but then I remembered that this morning I caught myself playing the air theremin in the shower.
