I'll be the first to throw out a geeky "must-see" list:
Steve Reich, obvs Colin Stetson Dawn of Midi Marc Ribot's everything Jonny Greenwood Julia Holter Glenn Kotche So Percussion Tim Hecker Nazoranai Susanna Bill Orcutt Oneohtrix Point Never
Looking forward to studying some of the names I don't know. Considering the company they keep, I'm sure we'll get along fine.
I was so annoyed that I was unable to see Television in Athens however many weeks ago that was... also, so disappointed to not get to make it to Hopscotch (mostly for Cale)... add Reich, Greenwood, Hecker, OPN, probably a Hecker/Lopatin collab somewhere, and I'm sure other great acts I'm just skimming over in excitement for the aforementioned, I don't think I can miss this. Plain and simple.
"Radio Rewrite is a 2012 work for instrumental ensemble by American composer Steve Reich (born 1936), inspired by two songs by British rock band Radiohead, Jigsaw Falling into Place and Everything in Its Right Place."
