"Radio Rewrite is a 2012 work for instrumental ensemble by American composer Steve Reich (born 1936), inspired by two songs by British rock band Radiohead, Jigsaw Falling into Place and Everything in Its Right Place."
I hadn't either, but it sounds fantastic! This lineup is stellar. There are still a handful of names I don't know, though. I'd ask for suggestions, but instead I'm just going to assume that I should listen to every artist on there.

Me too. While $150 is really nice for a weekend, in my line of work I'm not available to go to concerts all weekend and so ideally I'd like to be able to pay for only what I'll be able to attend.
Something that may work in your favor, like MOEMS, it's a night festival. I noticed on the ticket page: "Event Begins: Friday, March 28, 2014 at 5:00 pm"
While its not ideal, it may help you out a little.

Something to think about for those driving... If you like to ride, we now have an Urban Wilderness campaign that features nearly 100 miles of mountain biking trails about three minutes from the Bijou Theatre. It's really good stuff, though it's hard to know what the weather will be like. If you're looking for the best hotels for walking to the venues, hit up Hilton Downtown, Hampton Inn downtown, Crowne Plaza or the Oliver. A lot of times artists will be set up in hotels on Merchants Drive, which is about ten minutes north of downtown. If y'all have any more questions, go ahead with em, it's rare that my city hosts something this significant with such a wide draw. I met a lot of folks from other countries last time.

Looks like I'm going to be at least a +1 on this one, so Dave Maynar, some pointers on decent and cheap places to stay in relative walking distance would be greatly, greatly appreciated, my friend. As well as anything else that you would logistically suggest, of course .

I'm sure I'll have a million. I've been to Knoxville only once, which is funny to me seeing as how I lived not too far up the road. I made a last minute decision to see Six Organs Of Admittance play at the Pilot Light. I literally drove there, saw the show, drove home.
I'm starting my planning a little early. With just over 100 days, I gotta get busy.

There's a new-ish Tupelo Honey Cafe near all the venues, for those of you missing Asheville.
It's right across Market Square from Tomato Head. Downtown has had a nice revitalization in the last few years. Unfortunately, this means that there isn't really much in downtown that is cheap food wise. I feel Gibran could chime in on this too.
Tomato Head is good, but was not one of my favorites. It certainly was a favorite of a lot of my friends. If I am in Market Square I am at Preservation Pub. That was certainly my favorite place in Knoxville for a drink and music. I had other favorites for a drink and other favorites for music.
Anyway, as far as food goes, just a short trip away in the Old City there are a few good things to eat at Crown and Goose and Barleys Tap Room (also has a good beer selection and nice pool tables)
As far as downtown goes Bistro at the Bijou had decent food, I am sure it will be packed during the fest given its proximity.
Do not let anybody tell you that Club LeConte is anything special.
My personal favorite hangout was Rogers Place out in West Knoxville. I will be making a trip out there for a few drinks with some of my old pals.
