I had somehow never seen that schedule. All the venues listed are still open. The Big Ears Annex is NV now. I think 2010 was when it was closed as a regular venue for a short period, but I am not sure.
The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to think the venues will be limited. They only announced two in the big reveal (with more to come). Pretty sure the Pilot Light will be another.
All this talk about "limited tickets" would make sense if they had less venues.

It may also be that AC is the sole company that books anything at the Bijou and the Tennessee while the others are all owned by separate entities.
True. I'm just kinda looking at it from a capacity standpoint. Less venues would equal less capacity sort of thing.

"Knoxville friends, due to the capacity of the Tennessee Theatre and the Bijou Theatre there are only so many of these BIG EARS FESTIVAL tickets to go around! I suggest jumping on them early today when they go on sale. They make an excellent Christmas present!"

You're killing me, son. I would like to point out this from the Big Ears site. "MORE VENUES TO BE ANNOUNCED!"
In the last paragraph or so, there is a quote from El Cappo that makes it seem like they may not have been able to secure all the venues for Big Ears weekend. Wonder how it will affect their scheduling/booking.
