Well, my extremely optimistic hope that Mumford and Sons would play is completely dashed as they are in Japan the weekend of NFF. No chance for an Of Monsters and Men return as well for the same reason.
Any guesses as to the big name Saturday act? Edward Sharpe will be playing Floyd Fest that night (they're still possible for Friday night I guess). Bob Dylan is definitely ruled out. I'm going to place my bet on The Avett Brothers.
I also typed up the day breakdown as well and tried to sort it in some meaningful manner. We have 9 bands booked for Friday, 15 for Saturday, and 14 for Sunday (1 unknown).
Friday Old Crow Medicine Show The Mountain Goats John McCauley (of Deer Tick) Amanda Palmer Hey Marseilles Blake Mills JD McPherson The Last Bison Kingsley Flood
Saturday Jim James Colin Meloy Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls Justin Townes Earle Father John Misty Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue Iris DeMent Shovels & Rope Langhorne Slim & The Law The Lone Bellow Jason Isbell Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers Houndmouth Hurray for the Riff Raff Rayland Baxter
Sunday The Lumineers Andrew Bird Beth Orton Black Prairie The Felice Brothers Bonnie "Prince" Billy and Dawn McCarthy Tift Merritt Lord Huron Michael Kiwanuka Michael Hurley Spirit Family Reunion Bombino Wheeler Brothers Cold Specks
Unknown Berklee Gospel & Roots Choir

Wow. Conflicts are going to be painful. I can't miss this year for Jim James, Father John, Trombone Shorty, Jason Isbell, Felice Brothers, Kiwanuka, as well as all the others i'm unfamiliar with (but recognize the names)

I think this lineup is ridiculous already but just being on the ocean is enough to make me buy a ticket anyways. I think the only place i would rather have this show is on martha's vineyard and i am thinking very hard about seeing deer tick play there. I am such a beach bum.
Also if we have roughly 11 more acts to be announced my top 3 hopefuls are Lake street dive Lady lamb the beekeeper Ryan adams
For me:
Ryan Adams Dawes (which seem pretty likely given their tour schedule; assuming the announcement will come after their early April show in RI) Paul Simon
Some artist named Katie Toupin posted on Twitter that they were excited to play NFF this year; NFF responded by saying that they were excited to have her play.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Feist is the Friday headliner according to her profile page.
OCMS -> Feist is definitely worth the money I paid for Friday. Plus all of the other acts scattered throughout the day such as John McCauley, The Mountain Goats, and Kingsley Flood.
