Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Hopefully, they'll be better that Simone at GOTR LD, did you catch him there or were you still taking your time getting in?
Also, I just got a ticket to see Jason Isbell in Hartford the Sunday after Newport (get on that, Katy Mae cough cough), so that will help that conflict ridden Saturday afternoon!
What you saw wasn't the Felice Brothers. You saw Simone Felice solo during a transition period (when he broke up with one band and was trying to form another). He's also a little strange anyway. The Felice Brothers show will be awesome and they don't usually disappoint.

haha I'm just giving you a hard time, my dear Mr. Frankie's Gun. I'm sure Felice will rock my socks.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I need to know the guests lol. Dying to know who I'll be seeing and who i'll be missing.
I'm kind of thinking they may do what they did a couple years ago and announce who's playing a couple hours before the show each night. John will obviously be there and i'm sure ian and the rest of the guys will be there maybe trying to recruit some extras last minute. I'm fairly confident shovels and rope play with them one night.

I found out the info I really needed. And now I really need a Sunday ticket. Wouldn't mind whoever they choose for Friday (the night I do have a ticket for)
Sunday is probably going to be amazing. Obviously you got the Felice Bros and considering that Dawes has their own thing Fri and Sat they are probably going to show too. I'm wondering if one of the days they are going to do the new album in its entirety

Sunday night's Felice show should blow their daytime set out of the water. They are great at festivals but they thrive in the the bar/smaller venue setting. I can't wait to see the interaction between bands. One of my favorite show moments was seeing Deer Tick and the Felice Brothers and others sharing the stage and singing "Down South in New Orleans" with Ian O'Neill leading the vocals as the encore. Such a great time.
I think the Deer Tick shows are will call with ID only, aren't they? In order to get a ticket wouldn't the original owner have to be there also? Depending on who's playing which nights itrainmonkeys, I'll switch you my Sunday for your Friday, but how would that work out? I'm open to it.

Yea, they are will call, but last year I had an extra that I was able to sell to someone who was waiting at the door. They just had to walk in with me. To be honest, I want to be greedy and go to both nights. I was shooting for all 3 but got shut out of the purchase. As of now I think I'll try my chances at the door but if that changes before the Friday show I'll let you know. Thanks for the offer Katy
I scooped up 8 tickets last year ? for saturday night.. and i was not going. Did it for the QC gang. Poor planning on my part. Not realizing i HAD to be there.I called and asked - they said only if Quacker had my same last name would they let him present the receipt and get everyone in.
So I went to the door, gave my name, said here's my 8 people, catch you later. 2 of the eight were dudes waiting by the door hoping to buy tickets. The tick's last year were 20 each, so scroggie and I qsaroo'ed the two dudes. They were so thrilled to get in and for free!
Mentioned before that the lady checking us in was seriously PO'd because she had a 'waiting list' for no-shows --- hint hint ITM - get on that list too - but nothing she could do. I said here's my receipt for my 8, here's my 8 people. And in they went. As i am told the two that we got in free on our spares bought more than the ticket price in beers for Quacker and others.

Definitely going to try that. Thanks for the hint hint

Try giving NBC a call very very soon and see if they have a waiting list yet.
Ugh. Saturday starts late for me and then conflicts galore. I really wish they'd switch Houndmouth with Hurray so I could catch all of Houndmouth guilt free and without missings Shovels, Frank, and/or Lone Bellow.
From Deer Ticks facebook.... Friday: Langhorne Slim & Bobby Bare, Jr. Saturday: Justin Townes Earle & Jason Isbell Sunday: The Felice Brothers
Sunday night will be a special event, as we plan to debut our brand new record Negativity, in it's entirety, live.
I'm not a Felice Brothers fan, so itrainmonkeys, you can just have my ticket for face value if I can't find anyone to trade me for another night. I'll just walk in with you and get it then go back to QC.
Oh wow Katy that would be so amazing. Please keep me updated. I'll definitely buy it off of you. I can't miss Sunday.
Friday should be alright. Wish I was able to get all 3 nights. Saturday looks awesome.
Saturday is the night I wish I would've bought, but I already have tickets to Dawes and Friends that night. If I can't find a trade for Friday by tomorrow, the Sunday ticket is yours.
Definitely did. I liked the theme ideas last year but this is a cool set up. I still expect some other guests on Sunday, even if they don't get their own sets. Dawes being around or maybe someone from the other nights joining them. Either way it should be killer. I'm going to be tired at work on Monday but it'll be worth it.
Yeah, those after shows look pretty sweet yet again this year. Don't know if anyone's mentioned it here but there's a pre-Newport show at the Blues Cafe on Thursday night too with Joe Fletcher, The Low Anthem, and others.
First time poster but I recognize many names from other boards. I've got NFF fever so browsing around killiing time til the weekend.
I see a few people mention Dawes possibly appearing on Sunday because they only have their own shows Friday and Saturday. They are only doing 2 shows because they are playing the Xponential festival in Philly on Sunday, so they won't be a guest at Deer Tick.
Not trying to be a buzzkill and the shows for sure will be the musical highlight of the year, just didn't want any Dawes fan's hopes to be up.
This past weekend I was able to get my +1 into the Felice Brothers. If any of you beat me over to the NBC on Sunday night, could you scout out the extra ticket situation for me? I'm sure I'll have plenty of time at QC before Sunday to pitch this proposal again. But... strength in numbers!

I kind of expected (hoped) Dawes would play a surprise set on the stage that is open for much of the day on Sunday.
