Forecastle 2013 July 12th-14th

loved the venue and logistics of this festival. ill def be back if they produce a decent enough lineup.

isnt Forecastle only every 2 years tho? with a mini fest in between? so this would be an off year?

They are doing a full fest in 2013 now that AC is in charge. I actually just applied to intern with them in planning and preparing for next year.

Had no idea he was giving a lecture, I definitely would have checked that out. But yeah it'd be sweet but I don't have my hopes up. They were asking for marketing, business, and advertising majors. I'm pretty far off from all those, but I'm hoping that my current music major, my former music business major, and my marketing experience will help out.

I'll definitely be there again this year and every year after.

I really liked it last year, though don't know if I can make it back down any time soon.

Bourbon Lodge was glorious!

The only bourbon I had was the pint of Jim Beam that I snuck in. I mixed it with this amazing Iced Tea that was being sold near the main stage. It was peach or raspberry or something. It was soooo good.

In all honesty, the bourbon lodge was a heck of a deal. My wife and I didn't even use all our bourbon tickets. After about 45 minutes in there, we were bourbon'd out, so to speak.

Much to my wife's chagrin, I don't have a "Take it Easy" mode at festivals, so throwing me into an environment with bourbon lounges and draft beer is a recipe for lots of drunken dancing.

We had an amazing time last year and plan to go again in 2013!

This is on my radar for next year. I'd love to go, but it's line-up dependent.
