Yesterday Forecastle tweeted something along the lines of "Can't wait to see which of this years grammy performers will be at Forecastle" and their only other tweet was right after the Black Keys performance saying "Can't wait to see what they have in store for 2013...."

THE FORECASTLE FESTIVAL You've got an urgent question: When will the lineup be announced!? We've got an answer. Stay tuned for the announce date this week.
I'm gonna guess that The Black Keys will not be there and that the Grammy clue goes along with the SNL clue for Alabama Shakes. I just think Black Keys have gotten too big for Forecastle. I hope I am proven wrong though!
m.theblackkeys.com/#events The Black Keys have a North and South Carolina set of concerts the Thursday before and Friday of Forecastle. This obviously could set them as a Saturday or Sunday headliner if the festival's hint means anything.

Seen Alabama Shakes twice..once at Hangout and I worked their show in ATL, watched from onstage so that was the perk but honestly they're a bit dry, and until they come up with some new material a bit dull. Super talented, Brittany has a phenomenal voice but I just hope if I do see them again they have a deeper catalogue.

I enjoyed The Sheepdogs show afterwards much more
Sadly have to agree. Saw them at Rams Head Baltimore early 2012 and they were phenomenal, saw them later that summer at VirginFest and it was pretty much the same exact performance. I adore Brittany and the Alabama Shakes sound, but I hope they have some new material. That being said, there are worse bands to be at Forecastle, and I know they are a band who doesn't mind other artists coming on stage to jam with them...
So if we are indeed getting all the acts that Forecastle is hyping on their facebook, we're looking at:
The Flaming Lips The Avett Brothers The Black Keys Jim James Matt & Kim Shovels And Rope Alabama Shakes (confirmed) El-P or Killer Mike or both Foxygen Big Boi

I'm really interested in thus lineup, I wish it wasn't still 12 days away. I'm likely going to attend, but not for sure and its the missing piece of my summer plans. The list above would be a great start.
Seriously considering this fest, waiting for the lineup drop. For those who have been before, is there nearby camping or is it hotel only? Also what's it like for someone who's only been to Bonnaroo? How late do the shows go?
Man I'm so torn on this. The only act I like that is rumored is Big Boi. I really can't justify buying a ticket if there are no good headliners, unless the undercard is just filled with amazing acts I wont see at 'roo.
r4l9 you can tent camp or do a hotel. I'm not sure how either works because I live in town so I've never had to do either. I do know there are a few hotels that are walking distance from the grounds. Shows end at midnight, but there are after parties at various venues around town, these however aren't included in ticket price.
I haven't really been keeping up with the rumors. I had so much fun at this last year that I plan to attend on at least a day pass no matter what the lineup looks like, given my 3 hour proximity.
I feel like Forecastle hit such a home run with last year's lineup (for a festival of this size) that it would be very difficult for them to top it. I look forward to seeing what they come up with, though.

There is nearby camping, however it wont be official festival camping. The shows are like any other city fest, ends around midnight. They do however have late night shows on a boat on the river.
If you decide to do a hotel I would suggest using www.booking.com as they typically dont require any deposit to book a room. Expect to pay around $120/night.
