The forecastle app is up and running, and does anyone know if we just have one ticket we present each day of festival or do we exchange the tickets for wristbands?
If you have a weekend pass you exchange your ticket for a wristband on Friday. Not sure how single day passes work.

Has anyone volunteered to set up the GroupMe texting yet? If not, I'll do it.
If you haven't used it, GroupMe is group texting...send texts to one number, everyone gets it with your name attached. It's great for organizing meetups or spreading the word about secret shows or where the best afterparty is.
Old Crow Medicine Show: From my hometown, can't wait to see them on the big stage. The Joy Formidable: Missed their last tour, love their wall of sound and vocals. Matt & Kim: 3rd time I'll see them this year, ALWAYS a 'effing fun show. Dan Deacon: Weird and entertaining, just go and be silly. Killer Mike: Bonnaroo show was one of my favorites, great energy. Grace Potter: Because Grace Potter. Animal Collective: Missed them at Roo, I just want to hear Mt Girls so bad. Purity Ring: I WILL be on the rail for this, even if it means missing some of AmCo.

I like Purity Ring, but I can't decide if it's worth missing the first 30 minutes of Avett Brothers for their show. Especially since I'm not going to miss the last of Animal Collective. Thoughts?

I'm okay with brunch either day. Also meet up for drinks/dinner on Thursday or lunch on friday for those arriving early?
Also what is everyone doing for after parties? I'm DJing at a local bar for a Saturday night after party. It isn't walking distance exactly but it's an incredibly short cab ride. I hope all you guys can come out!

purity ring was amazing at roo, the crowd is the only thing that bugged me. I was front row and was still getting kicked and punched. it was rediculous

Hey everyone, PM me your first name and phone number. I'll get us all set up on GroupMe so we can keep in touch about things like breakfasts, drinks, afterparties and such.
I have a group of 8 staying at the Galt House coming in on Friday afternoon. We will probably be going to Headliners on Friday late night since we love the idea of the Trinity of Jam for free. On Saturday we will be at Cheese at the Palace. Getting very excited for this short week. It is the start of a nice run for us. I come home from Forecastle and have to work for 2 days then heading to Chicago for the 3 nights of Phish! I love summer.

Question for anyone who did the late night shows on the Belle last year. Do they actually take the old girl out for a cruise or does it remained docked (which is what I suspect)?

I didn't go on it but went past it and it stayed docked.

Hi everyone! I'm making the trip by myself this year so I'm hoping to maybe meet up with some friendly people while I'm in town. I haven't read all the way through the thread, but is there any preset meet ups planned or is it kinda of a play it by ear thing?
My wife and I are coming in for our second straight year for all three days, and we're staying at the Galt House. I'm excited for Old Crow, Boys Noize, SCI, MNDR, Joy Formidable, Jim James, Animal Collective and the Avetts. There's a lot of eclecticism to the lineup, and that suits my tastes perfectly. Bring on the BBQ, bourbon and live music!
