It's possible they'd book them again, but the festival is so young that there isn't much precedent. The Seer certainly raised their profile, which probably helps.

Early Bird No. 1 ($95) 3-Day wristbands for Hopscotch 2013 are gone! We are turning on Early Bird #2 ($105) wristbands now because of response and requests. They'll be up very soon!
I remember him saying that with the larger number of venues that things getting to capacity was much less of an issue. With the easy entry being one of the main VIP perks, the cost wasn't worth it to him.
Done VIP the past three years. While it was worth it the first two, it was pretty much a waste last year. Since the addition of more venues (and being able to place bigger bands in some of the newer, larger venues, as opposed to smaller clubs), there are no lines anymore.
I'll be doing General Admission this year.
Don't know if anyone caught it, but Chatham County Line were listed as playing on Pollstar a month or two ago (they've been taken down now)
I think they should do away with Memorial Auditorium this year. While the shows I saw there last year were all great, it just didn't feel right with a couple hundred people up front and an empty auditorium behind them.

I loved Memorial. It was pretty incredible seeing Sunn O))) in a huge auditorium with great acoustics, and I loved how the fog machines made a giant column in the middle of the stage. It just felt epic. The room worked well for Chris Corsano and Kevin Drumm, too. Drumm's set felt eerier in a dark, massive room.
From FB: Half of our VIP wristbands are now gone, and the other half are on sale now! What's more, we're excited to announce the first Hopscotch 2013 artist next week!!!

Ummmmmmm .. Wavves just announced a show in Raleigh w/o FIDLAR, yet they are on tour together playing shows both the day before and the day after.
Does Hopscotch have a proximity clause? Probably nothing, but I am hopeful.
They're back on that bill now. Hopscotch does have a proximity clause, but it's not as long as other, larger festivals'. I believe it's a month or a month-and-a-half, maybe two.
