Funny Sleep story: Last year when I tried to see them, they forgot to tell the promoters they cancelled. I wandered up to the stage, in pitch dark, hearing the band play. When I got there I realized there was no one onstage and they were playing Holy Mountain through the PA. The funny part came when I saw two guys at the rail fist pumping to the record. It's one of the few times I wish I had a camera on me.

I did not. I was actually laughing too hard. I heard later that Matt was "sick". I still have reservations about that. I'm so incredibly stoked and Mrs. GL is so incredibly thinking she's not going. lol
I've got my hopes up the snatch a few more Southern Lord metal bands. Baptists and Nails are high on my list. Seeing as Inter Arma is making a splash, I'm hoping for them too.

Nails either played last year or the year before, so doubt they come back. I've heard Inter Arma is booked, but not totally sure it's true.
Actually, I think you're right. I think it was last year. Inter Arma would make me a happy boy. Evidently they only play house parties with like 5 people here.
Seeing as Inter Arma is making a splash, I'm hoping for them too.
They're playing here in a couple weeks. If they haven't already booked them, I imagine they'll snatch them up when they come through.
I can't remember how long ago it was, but I caught Dear here in Raleigh and danced by ass off. And I never dance. Unfortunately, I missed the MoogFest set trying to figure out how to get to the hotel to pick up my credentials, but I did have my window down and it sounded so good on that big sound system.
